“Hate Cakes” May Prompt Prosecution

An Austrian confectioner faces prosecution for showing pictures of cakes featuring nazi logos in his catalogue. The sugary swaztika cakes, which are not only in bad taste but also break Austrian laws banning the promotion of Nazi imagery, were reported to the police by the Austrian Mauthausen Committee (MKÖ), an organisation focusing on keeping up the memory of Holocaust victims.
