AT&T Helped US Spy on E-mails

Telecommunications giant AT&T helped the U.S. government spy on private e-mail correspondence, according to documents released by whistleblower Edward Snowden. The documents, published in the UK Guardian and reviewed by the New York Times and Pro-Publica, show that for a 10-year period starting in 2003, as many as 60 million e-mails a day were spied on by AT&T for the National Security Agency (NSA).
