Andrew Breitbart, 1969 – 2012

Andrew Breitbart

Conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, whose online activism destroyed a leading leftist group and force a sitting US Congressman to resign, passed away suddenly on Thursday morning. He was 43.

“We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior,” Breitbart’s Big Government blog read in making the announcement. “Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.”

Breitbart’s father-in-law, actor Orson Bean, told The Associated Press that he was walking near his home in Los Angeles around midnight when he collapsed. He was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he died.

The blogger had a history of heart problems, and had an attack a year before. It is not known exactly why Breitbart died, and an autopsy is pending.

Breitbart got his start working with Matt Drudge, the Internet newshound whose Drudge Report exposed the Monica Lewinsky affair. On his website, Drudge mourned his friend and former employee:

In the first decade of the DRUDGEREPORT Andrew Breitbart was a constant source of energy, passion and commitment. We shared a love of headlines, a love of the news, an excitement about what’s happening. I don’t think there was a single day during that time when we did not flash each other or laugh with each other, or challenge each other. I still see him in my mind’s eye in Venice Beach, the sunny day I met him. He was in his mid 20’s. It was all there. He had a wonderful, loving family and we all feel great sadness for them today…

Breitbart later went on to start the Huffington Post with Andriana Huffington in 2005, but the two parted ways as her politics veered more to the left.

In 2009, Breitbart launched his “Big” series of blogs: Big Government, Big Journalism, and Big Hollywood, reflecting the three areas of American life which he regarded as institutionally liberal and unreflective of most Americans’ view of life.

James O'Keefe and Hanna Giles played the pimp and prostitute

Breitbart’s first sting for his websites was by exposing the leftist group ACORN. A hidden camera series showed employees giving advice to a pimp and his prostitute on how to do illegal schemes involving tax advice, misuse of public funds and illegal trafficking in children. The pimp and prostitute were actually conservative activists sent by Breitbart to set up the group.

Although a Government Accountability Office report cleared ACORN of criminal activities, public pressure led Congress to block previously approved funds from going to ACORN and to stop future payments. Roughly 10 percent of ACORN’s funds came from federal grants and the group eventually disbanded.

-Anthony Weiner

Perhaps Breitbart’s biggest triumph was forcing the resignation of New York Congressman Anthony Weiner. It was on May 28, 2011 that Big Journalism published a photo of an erect penis the congressman sent to a female friend on the social networking site Twitter.

Weiner initially claimed his account had been hacked and the picture was not of him, but eventually confessed and resigned from office.

One exposé that backfired on Brietbart was the case of Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod. In July 2010, he posted a video of her telling an NAACP group that she was initially reluctant to help a White farmer save his farm more than two decades ago.

Breitbart’s point in posting the video was to show the positive reaction the NAACP audience gave when Sherrod said she did not want to help the White farmer. But mainstream media reporting on the video focused on Sherrod making a racist comment.

Sherrod, who is Black, was ousted from her job as the USDA’s state rural development director for Georgia after Breitbart posted the video.

The clip was taken from a larger speech about racial healing, and Sherrod went on to say that she eventually realized her mistake and helped the White farmer save his farm. Once the entire video surfaced, Sherrod received numerous apologies from the administration — including President Barack Obama — and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack asked her to return to the department to work on civil rights issues.

She declined Vilsack’s offer but later sued Breitbart, his employee, Larry O’Connor, and an unnamed “John Doe” defendant for defamation. A lawyer for O’Connor said Thursday it’s not clear whether the case will proceed against the other two defendants, who were seeking to dismiss the case in federal court.

In a statement Thursday, Sherrod said she was surprised to hear of Breitbart’s death. “My prayers go out to Mr. Breitbart’s family as they cope during this very difficult time. I do not intend to make any further comments.”

Only a few weeks ago at the annual CPAC convention, Breitbart claimed he would release film of  President Obama from his college years that would expose the president’s radial and racist roots. The films, Breitbart said, would be released during the presidential campaign “to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what Hope and Change were sold to you in 2008.”

It is not known if the videos will now surface, although Breitbart’s employees vow to carry on his Internet legacy.

Breitbart leaves behind a wife and four children.

In an interview with Martin Bashir, Breitbart tried to get the point across that he also indicated that Sherrod saw the error of her ways. The leftist media trash just chose to cut that part out.

As usual, they were going to drag somebody through the mud who chose to stood up against racism when whites are the victims. Just like the vile trash which attack protestors of the Boer genocide in South Africa.

His gripe was with NAACP and their conduct. The lunatic left chose to play Sherrod as the “innocent victim”.

Most likely he was ‘whacked’ by the Kenites because of the following: http://www.prisonplanet.com/breitbarts-obama-footage-to-be-released-within-two-weeks.html

And if by any chance Sen. Ron Paul would win the GOP race he’ll be exterminated as well or they’ll get a third candidate who will run as an independent so that the 2nd term of Obama is secured. It’s the ZioCon method.

If he had shook by hand, I would have counted my fingers; If he had patted me on the back, I would have gone to a department store dressing room to looked at the mirrors to look for a knife in stuck in my back.
