Palin To Ron Paul: “Keep Educating Us”
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has sent words of encouragement to Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul, telling the Texas congressman to “keep educating us” about the problems with the American economy.
“It’s unfortunate that he’s been written off by the media,” said Palin, who had her own share of negative media attention when she ran as the Republican vice-presidential candidate in 2008.
“What Ron Paul needs to do is, keep preaching to Americans, keep educating us about the problems and our economic woes that have been caused by government overgrowth,” she told FOX News’ Greta Van Sustern.
“He needs to keep doing what he’s doing,” Palin said.
Palin noted that Paul’s loyal cadre of libertarian and small-government supporters are a major asset to getting his message out, despite a virtual media blackout of his campaign. She also called it “unfair” that he only got 90 seconds of response time in the last Republican debate, and his supporters should highlight the lack of coverage he is getting.
