Curtis Sliwa
Guardian Angels leader Curtis Sliwa has come out in favor of building what has become known as the Ground Zero Mosque, saying those who oppose it “don’t understand Islam.”
“I don’t have a problem with it,” Sliwa said on the FOX News program Money Rocks. “Muslims were killed in 9/11. Muslims die in battle with Americans every day. It’s ridiculous to blame a religion for what al Qaeda did.”
“I don’t think they [opponents of the Ground Zero Mosque] quite understand enough about the religion [Islam], because they have them all sort of set,” he said incoherently.
The degenerate liar also argued that foreign workers from Sri Lanka and East Asia should be brought in to build the mosque, because, “illegal Mexicans get hired by the dozens to put buildings up” in New York City.
Sliwa also applauded US President Barack Obama’s initial support for the Ground Zero Mosque, but criticized him for backtracking the next day.
“On Friday, he was forceful,” Sliwa said. “On Saturday, he cut and ran, and left a mess behind. The president, you’re going disgracia.”
Sliwa was the only one in the panel that supported the building of the Ground Zero Mosque.

I'm conflicted about this mosque.
On the one hand I know they have the Right to build where they want.
On the other hand I think they are being immoral, inconsiderate, insensitive and indifferent to what happened on 9/11 with the lives lost and the nation still mourning. How can people who claim to be a "religion of peace" be so ignorant about this decision?
The Victory Mosque affair has seriously damaged the image of The Religion of Peace™ in the eyes of ordinary Americans. We can consequently expect a lavish petrodollar-funded campaign of taqiyya (lying about Islam to the infidels) in the MSM, in an attempt to lull the public back to sleep.

Why does the media insist on describing the location of the proposed mosque as "near Ground Zero?" A piece of wreckage from a plane hit the building, it IS "Ground Zero."
If the purpose for the mosque truly is to promote peace as backers claim, why try to force it through against so much passionate opposition? That doesn't strike me as promoting peaceful relations.
IMO this mosque is a trophy, a symbol of a terrorist victory on 9/11 and anyone who fails to see this and favors the building of the mosque is either a brainless moron or supports the terrorists against the United States.

This is a country which doles out draconian punishment to criminals & doesn't have a crime problem in it's streets so I see no need for Guardian Angel crime -fighting techniques to be explored by them.
