TIME Magazine has illustrated how far the Mainstream Media leans towards the left in a new article that bashes opponents of the building of an Islamic mosque two blocks away from Ground Zero in New York City as “ignorant bigots.”
In an article covering last week’s approval for the demolition of a building to make way for the Ground Zero Mosque titled, The Moderate Imam Behind the ‘Ground Zero Mosque’, TIME World Editor Bobby Ghosh writes, “The last legal hurdle to the proposed Islamic center near the site of the World Trade Center has been removed, but ignorance, bigotry and politics are more formidable obstacles. [....] Criticism spans the gamut, from the ill-informed anguish of those who mistakenly view Islam as the malevolent force that brought down the towers to the ill-considered opportunism of right-wing politicians who see Islam as an easy target.”
Leftist ideology permeates TIME Magazine. Managing Editor, Richard Stengel, is a chief acolyte of the liberal cult of Nelson Mandela, having collaborated with the former South African president on his 1993 autobiography, Long Walk To Freedom, and later co-producing the 1996 documentary Mandela. Former Washington Editor, Ana Marie Cox, has an extensive CV in Leftist Washington media and now runs the Left-leaning Washington blog Wonkette.

Obviously the only place left in Manhattan to construct a Mosque is at the site of the WTC. This won't be considered a trophy by the Mohammadens, oh no of course not. It is just a matter of EEA. No place else to build except there. Right?

Of course genius men like this brave man, are the only people who know the truth. America is an evil racist nation and muslims and black people would be far better off if the USA never came into bieng. Look at the northern african nations, a becon of freedom and perfection. Peace loving peoples that spread only good and generocity all over the world. Not to mention black people who have to live in dreadful conditions as second class citizens with no health care or welfare. All white people should hang thier heads in shame for even breathing. Lets all understand, that as our great and all knowing president is taking us down the right path. Although he himself is stained by bieng half white, he will go down in history as overcoming this great white sin, and cleansing the world of those who do not see the truth.
Bobby Gosh has done it again .. and TIME seems to firmly stand behind his bigoted views. Time to cancel my subscription. Last week he couldn't understand why people in France want to see the face of someone they're interacting with (the full face veil, Burqa, he says, shouldn't be banned) and prevent extremism from taking any more root than it already has. This week he obviously feels a mosque has earned its place near Ground Zero.
I don't know if anyone's noticed, but in the picture accompanying the latest of these, a protester is holding up a sign quoting the Qur'an (3:151): "Soon shall we (Islam) cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers". I hope Bobby Gosh will be in a safe place if ever his Muslim 'modernists' or 'moderates' have to decide between him and a fellow 'believer'. Unless he's one of those himself, which I strongly suspect.
Bevor I read any more Bobby Gosh 'The Moment' masterpieces, I'd like to know if this writer has actually ever been to any part of a European or other Western city dominated by Muslim migrants. If not, I invite Bobby Gosh to spend a few days over here in France in any such suburb of his choice. It might do his writing a hell lot of good.
BTW, is this 'journo' Bobby Gosh indentical with the former Indian actor Bobby Gosh? If so, he should probably have stuck with acting..
I thought that the use of the term "IslamiccTerrorists" by the Bush Admin before the invasion of Iraq was intended to expand the" enemy" to Islam in general. What we are seeing today is a result of years of stirring up hatred by the Bushies and buddies on the Right. Look how many believed that Sadam was behiind 911. It also took the focus off the Saudis involved in 911. I agree, they were waging war in Islam. Shame.
