Shirley Sherrod
Shirley Sherrod has gotten apologies from US President Barack Obama and Agriculture Tom Vilsack and a “unique position” in the USDA after being forced to resign over an edited video showed her admitting bias against a White farmer.
Sherrod told The Associated Press that she is still thinking about the offer.
The video, released by conservative Internet activist Andrew Breitbart, shows Sherrod telling the Georgia chapter of the NAACP that she had not given a White farmer “the full force of what I could do” to help him save his family farm. However, the full speech shows that Sherrod actually did help the White farmer and was part of a larger story about overcoming her own racism.
An embarrassed White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said the administration did not know all the facts when it acted.
Vilsack told reporters that Sherrod accepted his apology and it was his decision to ask her to resign.

She should be rehired at USDA. She can empty waste baskets.
I was thinking she would be more qualified as a plow horse.
you know after watching the whole video she should be fired and the naacp reprimanded…
