Bob Grant
Conservative talk radio legend Bob Grant has refused to support fellow talker Michael Savage in his fight to get off Great Britain’s banned list, because he “doesn’t like the guy.”
Grant made the comments on the July 18 broadcast of his Sunday afternoon show, when a caller asked him why talk radio hosts do not publicly support Savage in his effort.
“Aw, isn’t that too bad, they won’t let him in England, oh my, oh my,” Grant sarcastically mocked Savage’s plight after the caller asked about it.
“First of all, I’m gonna be honest with you,” Grant continued. “I don’t like the guy. So I’d be a big hypocrite if I did that [publicly support Michael Savage].”
Grant ended the call and moved onto another subject.

It is unknown what caused Grant to have a change of heart about Michael Savage.
News of a list of people banned from entering Great Britain for having “engaged in unacceptable behavior” broke in May 2009. This list includes Savage and other people who are banned for merely saying politically-incorrect things.
UK Home Secretary Alan Johnson announced Savage would be taken off the list in July 2009, calling his addition a “blunder.” However, the conservative talker remains banned from Britain, unless he retracts specific statements he made about Muslims and other groups.

Grant will always do that. He is a two faced as they come! He mocked Barry Farber who got him back into talk radio in NY from Phila. where he was a flop. He does it to anyone and everyone who is talkradio. He thinks that he is the only one who is legitimate. He has even attacked me, because I've gone into it with John. I’m so happy Bob is still around (on Sundays anyway), even if he is not as sharp as he was in “the day”. Honest as ever, though.
i don’t understand how savage keeps a job on talk-radio. his show is a string of incoherent babel. who is listening?

Yes, and Savage is an imitator of the Great Frank! He has studied much of what I’ve said from our podcasts and used them. For example, tonight he said that “we’re living in Zimbabwe”. Well, haven’t I been the first to say that “Suid Afrika’s present is our future”. Just a paraphrase of what I said. He is so far behing TRP, it’s rediculous! and it is correctly, “Communist occupied Rhodesia”. Glad you’re listening Mike!
