The Wall Street Journal has published an op-ed from former Republican Governor from Delaware, Pete Du Pont, endorsing US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for President.
“Washington’s deadly left-liberal policies that have propelled the American economy in a very bad direction can be turned around” by Secretary Clinton, Du Pont writes.
While Du Pont makes his case for Secretary Clinton to run again – noting relatively high likability numbers, background, and knowledge of foreign policy – the endorsement from an established Republican comes as an odd one.
Speculation on whether or not Secretary Clinton would make another bid for the presidency began after she lost to Obama during the last Democrat presidential primary. The Wall Street Journal piece marks the first time a mainstream news source has advocated for a second round.

That's my biggest fear. She's not only as bad as Obama, but more competent. She'll do a lot more damage.
She will only run in 2016. She will never run against OB. She will lose. She knows it.
More evidence that The Wall Street Journal editorial department is becoming less and less relevant.
They do a great job covering news, finance, and economics, but its editorial page has been notoriously Left-Wing during the past couple of decades.
Unless Du Pont’s stragtegy is to stir up trouble in the Democrat Party, he may be having an early case of senility, a la Barry Goldwater.
She is more left and more dangerous than obango is.
Maybe the Dems should run one of the Kardashians or one of those ditzy bimbos on Hef’s arms for Pres. Just make the whole process a blatant spin off of a reality tv show. They’re not fooling anyone it’s more than a popularity contest at this point anyway.
:-)
Hef’s broads might be bimbos. But, at least they are better looking than hitlery is. Do you see the bags under her eyes ? And that collar she has on, that covers all of her wrinkles. If she really wants to look good maybe she should cover up her entire head. Hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahaahahahhah.
