Tyrone "Wing Chung" Bonds
A 30-year veteran of the Guardian Angels who left over rampant corruption he experienced and saw there has formed a coalition of alumni members that look to reform the group and return it to its original spirit.
Tyrone “Wing Chung” Bonds, who was leader of the Las Vegas Guardian Angels franchise, has started Together We Stand (TWS), a commission of alumni members who are looking to change the injustices they see going on in the group.
Members include Larry “Spike” Morgan, Sharon “Tye” Coleman, Tony Mayo, and the original Twin Dragons, Jeff and Jerry Monroe. In a July 2009 interview with The Right Perspective, Jerry Monroe explained how degenerate liar Curtis Sliwa stole the Guardian Angels from him and his brother.
Curtis Sliwa “has disgraced the memory of what the original Angels were all about,” Bonds said in a video announcing the formation of TWS.
TWS plans to go on a talk show circuit, which will include print, radio, and other media.
“Our whole goal is to straighten out things are not correct within the group,” Bonds said. “Insurance for those guys who get their butt beat out in the street, [and] change that policy of, ‘if you get killed we won’t do anything for you.’”

Tyrone Bonds (formerly Wing Chung) did not resign from the Guardian Angels. Tyrone was asked to leave for his failure to perform up to standards. He refused to patrol and after over a year was unable to even recruit one member for his chapter.

Also if you do some research you would find out that as far as skill goes 4th and MAYBE 5th Dan are skill based, the ranks above that are usually like Honorary ranks like an Honorary Doctorate awarded by a University to someone who speaks for graduation.
Let us be honest. Tyrone in his life has done somewhere between 50 to 100 patrols. He is a good mouth piece but he is a poor Angel.
What Tyrone wont tell you is that his services were terminated twice prior to this and others stepped up and spoke for him, one of which is 3rd Rail who he now verbally attacks in his videos.
And one should note that Tyrone can't even follow the rules in his work place. He claims to be a great Martial Artist ask him why when he was working as an unarmed Security Guard he felt the need to bring a shot gun to work?
If Tyrone really cared about the Guardian Angels he would have gathered together other concerned Guardian Angels and reached out to the leadership. Instead he has created videos to attack Angels that have devoted their lives as 24 hour Angels and belittles other Angels in a way to gather attention to himself.
Tyrone has no concern but for his own glory. Tyrone is an ego maniac and a narcissist. He should be ashamed of himself.

What is interesting is the instantaneous mediocre attempt to assassinate the character of someone like Tyrone (Wing Chung) Bonds, without ever considering or investigating what truth lies in what he is saying. Imagine devoting 30 years of your life to an organization created in the interest of justice, becoming part of a collective aimed at fighting crime, injustice while risking your life at the same time. Wing Chung and the Guardian Angel members are Fathers, Sons, Brothers, Uncles, Wives, Mothers, Daughters Sisters all with families, with children, some died in service to this organization. There was a strong belief what they were was good, that they were making a difference to their communities, as a result of this belief and commitment their lives became the sacrifices needed so that one could gain notoriety, one man’s greed, obsession with media attention, fortune and fame would be attained from their blood and sacrifice. These members who continue to stand in service do so without the benefit of living in a 4 million dollar property in NYC, many are homeless, when they are injured they do not have the health care available to them like their “so called” leader, curtis sliwa, they have to find a way to pay for their own care with no assistance from the “alliance”. While curtis sliwa has become the latest buffoon on radio and t.v there are real men and women volunteering their services for an ideal that has realistically died because of this moronic individual. Sliwa is quick to point out the injustices of others, but here is wisdom, what type of supportive services are there for members who are unable to work, or care for their families, how much salary does sliwa actually collect from the organization, are there any provisional services set up for members who are killed/murdered in the line of servitude, assistance to the widows? scholarships? anything, why is it when a member is hospitalized there is a collection taken up by his/her fellow members why should they who have little be forced to take up a collection have to take up a collection to pay the costs for medical/hospitalization services resulting their idealistic belief in the organizations mission. Security officers are covered by the companies they are employed by, Police have an enormous amount of support and benevolent associations protecting them why not the members of the Guardian Angels, with over 1 million dollars in donations, grants and other fundraisers why not do something to be of some assistance to the members whose backs you have ridden for over 30 years.

I raised all these questions about health insurance, and life insurance, and the fact that is Degenerate liar and media shyster couldn't give a damn about these kids. I honestly don’t know who this Kraps guy think he is but one thing I do know is that when Curtis wants to get rid of some one he sends his cronies to discredit the person. I cannot believe how much our morals, values and our dignities have all fallen and strayed from our true purpose; to honor our country by protecting its people, our people when they cannot protect themselves. The Guardian Angels are not new idea or a solution, but at one time were the answer to a failing attitude and mindset where protecting the weak, the discarded and the destitude became a last priority. The existence of the Guardian Angels bought about a great sigh of relief to many people who struggled with the fear of becoming the next victim of some violent crime. As I remembered, the Guardian Angels were a crying-out statement, “That if you can’t protect the people from the criminals, then we will!”. And, a great job they did! and is it true to this day morally and honorably? I was a first year student at Parsons School of Design when I first joined the Guardian Angels in 1980. A colleague of mine at Parsons who was in the Guardian Angels, did introduce me to Curtis “Rock” Sliwa. We were all so young back in those early years, many with hugh hearts towards helping those in need of protection and to provide a sense of relief that people would be safe to their destination.
I was in Wing Chungs patrol for a short time and a active member for two years. In the the two years of active duty with the Angels and juggling my work at Parsons; I began in a recruit patrol under patrol leader Kenneth “Sai” Trent who was my colleague at Parsons. I was later placed in Wing Chungs patrol, and when Wing Chung left for the U.S. Army, Curtis then placed me in the “Fire Fist” patrol to strengthen the patrol’s moral and discipline. We had so many great patrols and its members were fill with the great desire to help others and make a great difference and a great contribution to our communities.
They were a few patrols that were functioning out of order, and those allegations had to be properly investigated. That is where myself and Sharon “Tai” Coleman were chosen by Curtis to investigate those patrols in question, by riding along with them and deciding if the patrol should be stripped and disbanded. Sharon and I were probably the first Guardian Angel “Internal Investigation” team to exist. In 1982, I left the Guardian Angels for active duty in the U.S. Army Infantry and in 1991, I left my military service with three Honorable Discharge awards, two Good Conduct medal awards and two Army
Achievement medal awards. From 1988 to 1991, I was a MP with the 340th MP Company in Queens New York. In 1990, I became a duly-sworned peace officer with the Roosevelt Island Public Safety Department. By 1994, I entered the NYPD’s police academy as a new recruit. Now I am in my 17th year with the NYPD, and an instructor with the police academy’s Specialized Training Section teaching police tactics.
Outside being a police officer, I am a ordained deacon in the Christian faith of my church.
I am so disappointed for the change of focus from “Dare to Care” for others and our own Guardian Angel members to “I Care for Myself Image”. Those of you who know me or know of me as a GA Alumnus, know that I built my reputation on honest work and dedication in helping anyone in need of my services. My hard work speaks for itself.
I am still a GA Alumnus, and I will defend the original idea and purpose of what the Guardian Angels were designed to be, and not the media circus of misfits that is rapidly becoming. We are not children, but mature adults with something so precious and vital to give to our communities, that they continue to rely upon. Is the Guardian Angels becoming the next Enron and AIG. Whether or not, truth, false and opinion, the light of truth will shine and reveal the deep buried lies and deception. Like garbage, you can bury it so deep, that the over-powering stench will reveal its true location. I honor the “Guardian Angels” idea but we are doing a terrible dishonor and injustice to the original purpose the orginization was created for, by allowing self agendas instead of the agenda of taking care of our members so that they can take care of others. Now, am I to believe that those who think that every member of the Guardian Angels who falls victim of injury, is on his or her own, should just turn in their colors. I am a GA Alumnus who is a “military veteran” and a active police officer with the NYPD, who will never leave a member of service stranded to lick their own wounds. That is not American or Human! We have a saying in the military and in the law enforcement arena, “No One Is Left Behind”! Period!!!!!

There are many things I’ve seen in the Guardian Angels chapter in New York that I will comment later. As with Curtis “Rock” Sliwa” whom I have admired so long, why as a married man to your wonderful wife Mary and your now a father, would make such a public comment, “Admit it. So, in closing, I want great changes for the Guardian Angels. Changes that will provide a level of health insurance that the organization can afford for every full-time member who does not have a job with health benefits, on-going training education in basic law, police science tactics, and martial arts provided by professional certified instructors, and provide each member with future opportunity for advancement in upper leadership and management positions. If these suggestions, which are being used in corporate businesses, the military, law enforcement and security companies, are working for them; then why not correctly implement them within the Guardian Angels.
As a GA Alumnus, I will help any GA member in need! The Truth Will Always Set You Free!

When corresponding with “3rd rail”, I realized that the man has deep, deep personal issues to resolve. I am a man of 48 years, and I will not disrespect you or anyone on this response list.
First, let me bring the truth into light. Yet, as many Alumnus GAs have long been out of the active 24/7 patrol mode, they by no means have lost touch of what the it is to be a Guardian Angel. The alumnus that you are complaining about are indeed former active Guardian Angels, which are still members a the Guardian Angels who are not required to perform full patrol functions, but act as advisors, mentors, trainers, and keepers of the core values that the Guardian Angels were founded upon. Many of us GA Alumnus have grown in our years through our past GA experience and contribution that has taken many of us into the professional career areas of employment. You ask why we are not active?
The reasons are our full-time employment, making time to work with full-time GA members, and not being given the opportunity to “correctly” train our GAs.
I have offered my training on numerous accounts to the New York Chapter, with the replies of excuses, laziness, of not allowing such training to take place periodically.
As a active police officer in my 17 years of service with the NYPD, I am a certified police academy instructor who has offered to teach our Guardian Angels in NYC, courses in police street tactics, counter terrorism, COBRA/WMD, emergency management, fraudulent IDs, gang violence, and others too many to list. I’ve seen our NYC GAs for some, carrying handcuffs- not authorized to do so. There are GAs who are making civilian arrests without the proper legal training. You have to have a working understanding of the law, and of arrest procedures. There are GAs who are bragging about the number of arrest made as though they were trophies. I don’t brag on the numerious arrests I’ve made as a cop, its not professional. There are certain reports that GAs have violated the misuse of physical force that has openned a hugh legal can of worms. Am I striking a nerve here? Without “certifiable” legal training, who is going to pay the legal fees when a GA member breakes the very laws we are to enforce?
I am still waiting on Curtis to reply on on letter that I email to him last November on how I want to best serve our organization; the Alliance of Guardian Angels.
Here is the original letter I emailed to Curtis:
This letter is dated November of 2009.
It is to my understanding that the GA Alumni are not in operation anymore or that there is no longer a current Alumni Director at the helm.
I have always supported the Guardian Angels and its endeavor to continue to protect others who cannot protect themselves. What troubles me that you have not given me the opportunity to really know you and to work alongside you. I joined the GA in 1980, and became an alumnus in 1997.
Though I was not a fulltime member of the GA, I was at the most serving my country in the U.S. Army during 1982 to 1991. In 1990, I was serving as a sworn peace officer for the State of New York on Roosevelt Island till 1994. In February of 1994, I entered the NYPD police academy and now I am close to my 16th year anniversary. My wife of 13 years of marriage and I are ordained deacons in the Christian faith at Calvary Christian Fellowship in the Bronx. I have been teaching within the NYPD’s Police Academy’s Specialized Training Section for 8 years and I teach theological studies at my church as well.
Curtis, I have served my country, served my state and still serving my city as I continue to live a life serving God. Many members of the Guardian Angels throughout the U.S. and the World know of me and the mention of me, not just because of my membership with the GAs, but what I am currently doing with my life now. They have all been inspired by how the old time members have grown in their lives because of their humbled beginnings in the GA. The Guardian Angels look up to you, me, Arnald and the other old members, because they see into their future of what they too can become through serving in the Guardian Angels as they serve the fine people of this country and the world.
All I ask and Arnald knows my heart for the Guardian Angels, is to work somewhere within the GA to teach and train our members in specific areas of better serving and protecting the communities they patrol.
I thank you for allowing me to become a member of the Guardian Angels when Kenneth Trent brought me to you, for placing me in the Wing Chung patrol, to help the Fire Fist patrol to work together and putting Sharon Coleman and I together has a unit to combat corruption in GA patrols who were suspected in violating GA rules of conduct while patrolling the subway system. I know you remember this, yet you act as though you do not know me when you see me at certain GA events.

Well I guess it's my turn to interject into this topic of Wing Chung, and so I want to start off by saying that this Adam Kratt person has it backwards by saying Wing Chung has created videos to attack Angels that have devoted their lives as 24 hour Angels and belittles other Angels in a way to gather attention to himself which is actually just a smoke screen to keep people from seeing the truth about Curtis and the improprieties within the organization.
As far as the number of recruit's he has made and how many patrols Wing Chung has made , & all that stuff about what belt he really is, is irrelevant, the fact remains Wing Chung was a loyal 30 year member and has resigned, that in itself is like waving a big red flag and should have people wondering why?
Anytime anyone speaks out against anything Curtis or the organization has done or is doing you can bet Curtis will try to disassociate himself along with many other from that person, I have seen it 1st hand as an Alumni member I too have been defamed and slandered against by Sliwa's henchmen, this is how Curtis treat's his members with accusations of being a poor angel, I mean C'mon we aren't kids anymore Curtis, were grown men and women who know the difference between right and wrong and what your doing and have been doing all these years is WRONG!
Here is something for everyone to think about, The Guardian Angels is a non profit organization that is funded through donations offered by the public, well why has only Curtis Sliwa been profiting from it? He is not the sole founder of the group like he claims to be.
Why is it Curtis lives in a Plush Manhattan condo while those who patrol for him are living in deplorable run down buildings that should be condemned (speaking of those who are 24-7 angels who live in the H.Q.'s throughout the US and abroad) ? Why is there no watchdog group looking into the finances of the group and my biggest question has always been has anyone thought to look up Curtis's income tax records on those donations he uses for his own personal use?
Ask Curtis about the time he tried to disassociate himself from Illye Lichenberg aka Bam Bam from N.J. when back in June 1988 was hit in the head with a bottle and stabbed in the face while supposedly being out on patrol on restaurant row, why? Because Curtis didn't want to come out of his own pocket, it's all about greed and whats in it for Curtis and the fact is Bam Bam came back to the HQ took off his colors and went back out to the row as we called it that night to fight a drug dealer one on one because he too knew that if he assaulted the dealer as an angel in colors Curtis would cut all ties with him so he went as a civilian, only after he was injured Curtis spun the story to the media that we all were out on patrol when the altercation took place it's this type hype that Curtis does for media attention and if it were not for the media and a microphone in Curtis Sliwa's face when all this went down asking Curtis who was going to pay for this kids medical attention, Curtis would have dropped Bam Bam like a dirty shirt.
I believe in the angels and why it was created because I was one but I don't agree with the way in which it has become today in defaming former and rank & file members and where Curtis takes all the credit and the minute you say "boo" about anything you're made to look like the bad guy….

The Guardian angels wasn't solely created to make arrest's or to deter crime, there were times we carried homeless people on our backs to shelter's in NYC during very cold night's who were unable to walk, being an angel was and is so much more it's about helping your fellow man to give a helping hand when someone was in need. They can try to discredit Wing Chung and even try to assassinate his character and they can take away his and every other angel's color's but they can't take away what's in our heart 's or our drive. You don't have to wear a red beret or an angel T-Shirt to actually be a Guardian Angel even after I left the group I still to this day find myself helping people in many different situations because of my belief in the Dare to Care motto it's something inside a person something no one can strip you of not even Curtis Sliwa.

You are so welcome Wing Chung, & you are also correct Frank, but in all fairness to Curtis, Curtis was elected spokesperson for the group not it’s founder as told by Jeff & Jerry Monroe and those in the group at that time simply because he was “White” and because he was “The Manager” of the McDonald’s where Curtis worked, I’m not sure of all the specific’s of it, but as told by Jeff & Jerry Monroe. Curtis was never elected as it’s founder. The only thing Curtis was founder of was the Magnificent 13 and it was only after his Curtis’s guy’s decided to switch over to the Shaolin Protector’s that Curtis got together with Jeff & Jerry Monroe to salvage and merge the two groups as one thus they became the “Guardian Angels” only who do you think at that time would the community listen too or take seriously? Certainly wasn’t going to be 2 black kids from the south Bronx so they decided it would be Curtis, only Curtis over the years forgot either on purpose or just got caught up in the lie that he was it’s group’s original founder, Curtis seen early on the money to be made in the group by way of donations between that and the fame of it, it was like a drug to him and he was hooked on it, only problem was Jeff & Jerry Monroe believed somewhere down the road Curtis would set the record straight but as time went on Curtis continued to lie even to them yet never told the truth.
You know Frank when you tell one lie, you’ll tell another to cover up the first and so on and so on it’s become a way of life for Curtis, my opinion on it is,Curtis took advantage of Jeff & Jerry Monroe and even to this day takes advantage of every member that is or was a member of the group. I am well aware of how his machine works as you and many other people are. He hides behind this facade that he is there to help the community but tell me why is it he is setting up these chapter’s in gated suburban communities or in areas he know will bring in big dividends? Because Curtis has realized early on that he could profit from the organization.
I have been out of the loop for quite some time but have been in contact with many angels that I once knew throughout the years yet many will not be found on my facebook page because they know how the machine works, within the organization just like in religious sect’s there are spies, 3rdrail as you know is Curtis’s top spy or as I like to refer to him Curtis’s whipping boy and they are feeding information back to King “Curtis “Crock” Sleeze Wah” because Curtis will stop at nothing to make sure no one interfere’s with his way of life in any shape or form.
