Vigilante group the Guardian Angels may get help with their attempt to revive a dead franchise in Toronto, Canada if a mayoral hopeful gets into office this October.
Blind publicist JP Pampena, who represented the Angels when they were last in Toronto back in 2006, has made bringing the group back to town a platform in his fringe candidacy.
Pampena says on his campaign blog that he would like to have the Angels patrol Toronto schools and run an anti-bullying program.
Current mayor David Miller, who is not running for re-election, turned a cold shoulder to Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa when the degenerate dirtbag showed up in town last week to start up the franchise again.
Sliwa may have to find a better backer though as recent polls do not even mention Pampena in their results.
Pampena is better known as a publicist whose clients include an anti-shedding dog collar, a Frank Sinatra impersonator and a woman whose extramarital affair was exposed when a local cellphone company consolidated its billing process.
Toronto voters go to the polls October 25th.
