The office of Israeli President Simon Perez has blasted a UK Guardian report that claims Israel offered to sell nuclear warheads to South Africa in 1975.
Israel “has never negotiated the exchange of nuclear weapons with South Africa,” a statement from Perez’s office read.
“There exists no basis in reality for the claims published this morning by the Guardian that in 1975 Israel negotiated with South Africa the exchange of nuclear weapons,” the statement said.
“Unfortunately, The Guardian elected to write its piece based on the selective interpretation of South African documents and not on concrete facts.”
The UK Guardian also provides .pdf file copies of the redacted documents, obtained from the ANC-run South African government by American academic Sasha Polakow-Suransky for his book on the Cold War ties between Israel and South Africa.
Perez was Israeli Foreign Minister in 1976 and his signature appears on one of the documents.

Good!
Given their track record, I wouldn’t believe anything Israel says.
Adding yet another sin to the growing list list that the Zionist state disobeys including: Thou shall not kill, thou shall love thy neighbour and thou shall not steal (other people’s land and resources).

So David Ben Gurion and Golda Meir were very critical of South Africa?
Can you say hypocrisy?
