Twenty South African ex-pats held a silent protest in London’s Parliament Square against the ongoing plaasmorde, or farm murders, taking place back home.
Calling themselves Boer, protesters carried flags of the Orange Free State and Transvaal, the two Boer Republics that were taken over by the British and brought into the Union of South Africa at the end of the Second Boer War in 1902.
They taped their mouths shut to show how the silent response of world governments and media to news of the Boer Genocide, and carried signs reading, “More than 3,000 farmers murdered since 1994,” “Families butchered everyday,” “No farmers, no food,” and “Boer genocide = African famine.”
“Whilst we acknowledge that South Africa’s rampant crime leaves every citizen and tourist very vulnerable, we wanted to emphasize the ethnic nature of what we consider to be targeted attacks in order to scare and intimidate white farmers off their land,” said protest organizer Wynand Krüger.
“Do you realize that Genocide Watch recently raised South Africa’s threat level to Stage 5 out of the 8 possible stages of Genocide, referring to Boers and refugees as the potential victims? That is why we also chose to display Boer flags here today; we consider plaasmoorde to constitute a process of ethnic cleansing that echoes the concentration camps of the Anglo Boer War,” Krüger said.
Some protesers also felt that South Africa’s ruling ANC Party had not only marginalized and alienated Whites, but encouraged the plaasmorde.
“Mr. Mandela won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993, where is he now? Last year he shared a stage with now president Zuma, thereby endorsing Zuma and the ANC during the previous election,” one protester said.
Bean Earle, chairman of the Jack Hindon Scouts in the UK, said, “the frightening statistics of more than 3,360 farmers being murdered in more than 10,000 attacks since 1994, the ANC’s failure to discipline Julius Malema for his hate speech and calling for Zimbabwe-style land grabs, the fact that South Africa can now be mentioned in the same breath as Zimbabwe and Iraq (both listed as at stage 5 by Genocide Watch) when potential genocide is discussed, as well as the knock-on effect of these factors on dramatic drop in the food production in Sub-Saharan Africa, all send a multitude of shivers up one’s spine. It is therefore unsurprising that there are serious doubts about the prospects for a peaceful future in South Africa.“

At least they are protesting with proper flags.
Parliament Square is often used for these peaceful protests. The location in the city also means that a fair number of locals and tourists would have seen that, even if it gets no media coverage.

At least, they did not display the Hitlerian-inspired AWB flag which would have been disastrous in terms of public relations. IMHO, the Boers need ONE flag to consolidate under. Having 2 flags is too confusing for the average person who doesn't know the history of South Africa. Can't the Boers find a PROFESSIONAL graphic artist to re-design a unifying, non-incendiary banner?

There are something like 40+ (?) different Boer groups. Some are tiny, with a handful of members, and others are more significant like Boervolk Freedom Foundation.

OK. There were 13 colonies in America that formed the US at the Philadelphia Constitutional Convention. Isn’t it high time that the Boer groups had a convention to unite? Under a strong, media-savvy non-Hitlerian leadership? The Boers are leaderless. They need a Boer version of Martin Luther King, Jr. or Ghandi. I’ve been following the Boer saga on The Right Perspective since 2004. Here it 6 years later. What progress has been made?

Several problems, George. Many of these groups are infiltrated by Afrikaners intent on destroying any unified front. There are numerous National Intelligence Agency agents engaged with this specific task alone – infiltrate and discredit groups. Look at the farce which is Boeremag trial – 7 years these guys have been in jail, with no end in sight.
There is a substantial powerhouse behind the Afrikaners – they call themselves the AfrikanerBond, BroederBond and at a stage AfrikanerBroederBond. They pulled the strings in the National Party prior to 1994 and many believe they are pulling the strings in ANC too, that the Mbekis, Zumas, etc of this world are only the puppets. You have to realise the immense wealth contained in SA's mineral resources. That is how it is all funded.
These Afrikaners have been siding with the enemies of the Boer since 1902 – that is how the union of South Africa and later the republic saw the light of day. Many people today don't even know the difference between Boer and Afrikaner – this identity crises usually leads to failure of unification.
There are also many whites in SA still leading very good lifestyles – they live in mini-prisons where electrified fences top off 8-foot high concrete walls. They have grown accustomed to the crime and way of life, usually until a close relative is killed or seriously assaulted.
It may sound absurd to say this, but many have not suffered enough. At least not enough to open their eyes.
But in all honesty, looking at UK, Europe & USA – don't you see similar trends? That appeasement attitude which is so self-destructive?
The Afrikaner reminds me of the British Tory American colonists who did not want to rebel against England at the time of the American Revolution. They had it also "too good". Look at the assault on the Nobel Prize Winner Nadine Gordimer in 2006. She also refused to see the handwriting on the wall. As the old saying goes: "It's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness". The Right Perspective is that candle. Excelsior the Boers. Stay in the media's face.

By God, George the athiest is right. Symbolism is critical. The Bravoland flag that resembles the Norwegian flag is an example of going for the Scandanavian angle, it may influence Danes and Swedes to lend more support to the whites and less to the black communists.
If ya want men to support a cause or a flag, it better mean something to them.

The absolute callousness and disregard for laws in this country has been proven over and over:
- When whites are murdered, they are tortured to death;
- The latest miinibus taxi "accident" where the driver ignored the booms at a railway crossing and went around the booms. The taxi was contracted to transport children to schools. The result of this that so var 9 children are dead and a number critical. This is not the first such incident.
- Striking medical staff that enter operating theaters (while operations are in progress), contaminating the theatre and dragging doctors out.
I was at the court case where the ANC try to get the song “Shoot the Boer” legalized.
Outside the court room , Jackson Mthembu, Chief-spokesman for the ANC said: ‘It is now Our turn to kill the Whites ! ”
It is clear that the ANC wants to LEGALIZE WHITE GENOCIDE.
The way I see it whites have two choices:
1. Emigrate
2. Fight for an independent republic, in the southwestern part of South Africa where the blacks are not native.
We cannot wait any longer. It is time for Whites (not just Afrikaner) to work to this common goal.
Praag (Pro Afrikaner Aksie Groep / Pro Afrikaner Action group) is currently trying to get an initiative off the ground in this regard, but it is still early stages.
