UPDATE 3.05pm: THE Queensland Liberal National Party has promptly expelled a member who called Barack Obama a “monkey” on Twitter during the US president’s interview on ABC.
But Nick Sowden, 22, reckons people just don’t get his sense of humour, The Courier-Mail reports.
Sowden, a medical student at Griffith University, started posting tweets just after 7.30pm, as an interview between the US President and Kerry O’Brien was broadcast on ABC’s 7.30 Report.
