Kenyan Lawmaker: Obama Born In Kenya

Kenyan MP James Orengo

A Kenyan lawmaker has flatly stated in his parliament that US President Barack Obama was born in Africa and is therefore “not even native American.”

James Orengo, who is Kenyan minister of lands and a parliamentarian for the Ugenya constituency, made the statement during a floor debate about drafting a new constitution for the country.

“If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation,” Orengo argued, “how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the president of America?”

Orengo said the US is no longer “living in the past” since Americans elected a Kenyan-born president without regard to “ethnic consideration and objectives.”

The statements can be found in the Kenyan government’s official March 25, 2010, hansard – a traditional name for printed transcripts of a parliamentary debate – and shows that no other MPs mentioned or tried to correct Orengo’s comments about Obama.

It doesn't matter. Hussein Obama could've been born on Mars, and the Liberal/Marxist media wouldn't report about it. And, why should they? It's obvious that the stupid, ignorant, uneducated, gullible American voters don' really give a shit. In the past, Americans cared about the future of their country and who they elected to lead it. Today, they're more interested in electing an unqualified, black Marxist only becuase it relieves some of the guilt that they openly accepted through years of Left-Wing brainwashing, indoctrination, and propaganda.

  2. Dan says

How many Kenyans are going to tell us that he was born there before we insist on seeing that birth certificate from Kapi'olani that he says he has?

    Just curious.

Some think it would hurt to be Marxists, I think it's a diobolical plot to send us to hell. Jesus answers you.

I used to be a Republican back in the 70s and 80s. Then I left along with everyone who has an IQ >90. In fact I suspect now that one needs to test at 70 or below to be eligible for membership.

This man is obviously telling the truth. Kenya credibility often supersedes American.

  6. Kevin Shapiro says

Maybe Johnthan is right… Obama has set the standard by pandering, apologizing, sucking up and bowing to many leaders of 3rd world and countries who are undeserving. He’s done the same to countries who are indebted to us for shedding American blood to help keep them free from hostile takeover by tyrant dictators.. We should follow his lead and lend creedence to those who are unworthy of our trust.. Despite the rampant corruption in the Kenyan government, if this guy says it, sure, I’ll buy it… why not?? I’d hate to doubt them now only to have to apologize for it later. I’m not a birther, but seriously, given the things that Obama has pulled over on us so far, would it really surprise anyone if he was in fact born in Kenya? Be honest..

  7. Joseph Lister Nyaringo, New Jersey USA says

It’s all in America where you hate the government and still have the right to express yourself freely without coercion or intimidation. Only in America, you will find a popularly elected President called a dictator as if he is in league with the Iranian despot, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe.

Those who are calling President Obama a dictator merely because of a legislation passed into law, dont know the true meaning of a dictatorship. They need to learn about what goes on in Zimbabwe and Iran before calling President Obama’s administration a dictatorial regime. Regimes world over, are repressive and employs brutality to destroy dissent from opponents and regular citizens.

Having said that, the role of any political opposition is to play a watchdog role; putting the government in power on it toes fairly without malice, prejudice and personalization. This watchdog role must stick on policies and issues that benefit the people.

The stiff opposition on the Obama administration currently exhibited by the Republican Party in collaboration with the Tea Party movement has turned slanderous and mudslinging. This is a deviation from real issues that affect the American people like job creation and economic revival. That is why a big percentage of Americans see this animosity as a ploy whose agenda is to dent Obama’s Presidency.

Before President Obama took over, he acknowledged the fact that fixing America’s present problems, especially the economic downtrend and unemployment was not going to be done overnight. This was a positive gesture to prepare the citizens psychologically instead of giving them false hope.

The President’s critics should understand that leading a Country of more than 300 million people is a hard task and even if John McCain had won, it would have taken him time to turn things a round for the American people. After all, Obama has been in the White House for less than two years.

The attacks on the President over big government and its impact on the US economy by the Republican Party do not hold water because there is no prove on this. President Bush senior and a believer in small government was hounded out of office due to poor fiscal policies. He left a trickle down economic mess in the exchequer that President Clinton, a democrat resuscitated to a robust surplus.

Therefore, critics from the Republican Party attacking Obama’s fiscal policies should tell the American people what happened to the huge surplus Clinton left in the national coffers, as well as the state of the Country’s economy when President Obama took over from Bush junior before their totally unwarranted attacks.

I personally agree with real Estate mogul, Mr. Donald Trump who commented one time in CNN of how good the USA economy is when the democrats are in power.

The President’s avid efforts to see the passage of the Health Care bill that will help millions of uninsured Americans to access healthcare should not be politicised. His opponents should wait and see the impact of the bill after its implemented. After all, Obama will not support a legislation that will not benefit the American people as it will ruin his political legacy.

Members of the Republican Party and the Tea Party movement who are persistently discrediting the president seem to have a sinister motive. After all, where were they when George W. Bush invaded Iraq by falsely claiming there was weapons of mass destruction which has claimed many American lives as well as billions of USA dollars to rebuild the Arab Country?

The American people expressed their universal suffrage to elect Obama because his message resonated well with their predicaments. If he performs below expectations, they will exercise the same right to vote him out in 2012. It’s therefore imperative that the freedom that is enjoyed in America today should be exercised with civility, and respect.

His opponents should challenge him on policy matters fairly without mudslinging, propaganda and extremism. By saying they want their country and government back in rallies as if America is on the hands of some colonial power or despotic President is an insult not only to those who voted for President Obama but it robs the American people a lot of respect abroad. It reflects negatively on the Alaska Governor, John McCain’s vice presidential running mate who is also the defacto leader of the of the Tea Party movement especially when supporters in her rallies are seen waving placards that read, “Obama go back to Kenya.”

The President was born and bred in America where he contested for the Presidency and won. He is trying to resuscitate the economy, create jobs and mend bridges between America and her allies as well as fighting terror. He is not a dictator, fascist, anti-Christ or terrorist the way he has been painted in Tea party rallies. He is managing the affairs of government within the confines of the American constitution just like other previous presidents before him.

When leaders irrespective of their political affiliations stoops too low to dent the image of this respected Country just because they don’t like the man who sits in the Oval office, is not only racist but shameful. It’s so tragic that a sane American will spit on an elected representative calling him the “N” word just for a political opinion in the 21st Century. This sets a very grim image to a Country seen globally as a model for democracy, justice and freedom.

Don't copy and paste something from your blog Joseph Lister Nyaringo. Write something specifically for this board's news stories.

  9. Casey says

    Mr. Nyaringo,

Your President was elected by a bunch of racists who voted for him because he was black. Many of those who went to the polls couldn’t even tell you who his daggone running mate was, let alone what his platform really meant for America. All they could say was “Show me the money!” And I’m not talking about just black people… I’m lumping my white as a cotton-ball sister into the fray!

I am sick to death of being called a racist because I disagree with this administration. Is he a dictator… not yet. Is he an uber-leftist, yes indeed he is. He sold a bunch of people a bill of goods. He has flowery speech and a beaming smile. I could even almost like him as a man if he hadn’t already lied through his teeth, snubbed America and the Constitution.

I don’t know one person who isn’t black and who voted for him who doesn’t regret it. So who are the racists? The ones who think the man in the oval office is supposed to be given carte blanche freedom to run this country into the abyss of sweltering debt just because his skin is dark! No one gives a rat’s rear end if he is black, white, or purple – we care about his stinking MARXIST policies; we care about the Mao-loving, ultra left-wing radicals with which he surrounds himself. We care that Obama goes overseas and dares to demean this country. Oh we care about a lot … and if that makes me racist, then so be it.

    Have a nice day.

  10. Joseph Lister Nyarin says

Yes I did copied and Pasted from my blog and its my original material anyways. While I respect the freedom to say what one feels, I want to state that Obama is facing challenges because of the high expectations people had on him. Many thought it will take him a short time to turn things a round but you will be surprised that he wont deliver even in his entire first term. Secondly, I also see the race card being played on the president. Why do I say so? watch the words of Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman and Tea party activists who wave placards that reflects racial slurs and conotations. The right wing media personalities like: Rash Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Billy Oreilly; all of Fox News cable talks as if Obama is in office illegally. By and large, the president inherited a huge deficit, two wars and besides, as a political leader, he has his own ideology. He is liberal and his opponents are conservatives. That is why they will rarely agree with him on administrative practises.

WARNING FOR THE REPUBLICANS: The more people like Sarah Palin opens their mouth, the more they are destroying the GOP. The more they keep on with the hateful Tea party Rallies, the more you will never attract minorites like Latinos and blacks to the Republican party. They are scaring many party sympathizers like myself who is prolife and "TOTALLY" anti abortion. Well, people have a right to demonstrate because America respects freedom but this freedom when its taken too far by demonising a sitting president through epithets, its scares many.

  11. Joseph Lister Nyaringo says

You have a right to say what you want but America is better off with Obama than George W. Bush. However, I dont think that the President is perfect.

  12. Joseph Lister Nyaringo says

Given the huge deficit Obama inherited, you cant expect him to turn things a round within a shortime. The Tea party people: Sarah Palin, Michelle bachman and the rightwing media-Fox’s Sean Hannity, Billy Oreilly, Glen Beck Rash Limbaugh are scaring many minorities from joining the GOP. In fact, as prolife guy, I’m damn scared from joining the GOP due to the racial tirades and bashing I’m seeing from the rightwing guys.

  14. Dano says

Joseph have you been to a Tea Party and seen these "racist slurs"? I have been to many and can tell you the Tea Parties concerns are not about ethnicity, they are about a crumbling government, the danger of Big government, and the lies and deceit of both parties. In both of your posts you continue to attribute the Tea Party movement with Republicans, please educate yourself before spewing online vomit. The Tea Party movement does not and will not affiliate itself with any political party, both Republicans and Democrats have failed America and the sooner we get away from a two party system the better off America will be. This administration has commandeered a third of the US economy, with bail outs, and health care overhaul, Capitalism is not base on these practices. The Tea Party movement is a large movement that many American believe can make a difference, with any large movement you will have your proverbial black sheep, this does not mean that every individual involved in this movement shares their views, although the liberal government controlled media would like for you to believe so, and of course sheeple like you buy right into the smear campaigns. So once again leave the "racist label" and Sarah Palin out of it. Both honestly don't belong to the Tea Party. For you to make such crass comments about a movement of American citizens who want nothing more than to see their Constitution brought back into politics and for the same Judea-Christian beliefs that this country was founded on to be upheld and cherished makes you the enemy of America just as much as Obama. You say he was born and raised in America, I will ask you the same question I ask Obama, PROVE IT. But for some reason Obama continues to use ours, and your tax money to hire legal teams to keep all his past records sealed, what is he hiding? If you are not concerned that we as America know less about the man currently residing in the White House than any other President in US history than you obviously are not to concerned about the state of our country and have no real place to comment on any post regarding this topic. Regardless of political views and standpoints every American should want to know the truth about this mans past, yet so many are so quick to believe the lies in the media and a short form COLB as real because a political science major and a journalist "examined" it and deemed it legit, both unqualified to make this determination. More than a dozen trained professionals one with 35 years experience in document examination has blatantly proven it to be fake. Wake up man that's all I ask, this is not a Republican or a Democrat battle over who right, this is an American battle over what is actually going on in Washington, and the sooner you realize that the sooner you will be asking the same questions 150 million Americans are asking and have yet to receive an answer, Obama why won't you release your records?

  15. Joseph Lister Nyaringo says

For Dano, Casey and other contributors,
I think by insisting to question Obama’s citizenship is not only an insult to the millions of Americans of all races who elected him through the Country’s respected Universal Suffrage but also a recipe to dent America’s respect and image abroad. Truly, I believe and I have seen it practically that in this country, you cannot hide your identity and get away with it.
Nevertheless, not even a street beggar will forge or cheat his/her identity leave alone vying for the presidency especially on Obama’s scenario. I love the meaningful debate you guys are engaged in and let us make it civil whether left, right or centre.
We are all for a better society where everyone exercises their freedoms and opinions without coercion or insults. Remember, it will take time to bring this economy back to its feet even if we were to have another President. After all, Obama will go for one or a second term and don’t think his successor will find it easy to fix things.
Let us keep it civil, respectful and not calling each other a chimpanzee. I’m not a chimp and I will not be one because this animal cannot write what I’m sharing with you here today. Black or white, we are all children of the highest God. Rich or poor, short or tall, good or evil, male or female we share a common humanity. It hurts when you hurt another. God bless you all.
