Gay Rumors started in The Sunday Star
Lawyers representing the two Black farm workers accused of murdering AWB leader Eugene Terreblanche has changed their story of a wage dispute gone wrong to incorporate Leftist media slander into their defense, saying they acted in self-defense after the AWB leader made homosexual advances on them.
Rumors of a gay twist in the slaying began after South African tabloid The Saturday Star reported that a used condom was found at the crime scene, and printed several libelous claims in their article. While the Star quickly recanted its story after police investigators publicly stated that claims of a condom found at the scene were “a lie,” the rumors were reprinted as fact in several other more respectable broadsheets, including The Mail and Guardian and eventually The New York Times.
A charge of crimen injuria was filed against 28-year-old Black man Chris Mahlangu, and a 15-year-old Black boy who cannot be named because of his age.Prosecutor George Baloyi explained crimen injuria during initial court proceedings as: “…. they pulled down his [Terre'Blanche's] pants to his knees and exposed his private parts.” Baloyi would not explain further.
ETB Accused Killer
Sensing a vulnerable point in the prosecution, the lawyer representing Mahlangu, Puna Moroko, told the Sunday Times that “My instructions from my client are that there was some sodomy going on and it sparked the murder of Mr Terre’Blanche [....] this is going to form part of our defense during trial,” adding that Terreblanche tried to have sex “with one or both” of them.
Attorney Zola Majavu, who is acting for the teenage boy, went on to say that Terreblanche plied both workers with alcohol and then “something shocking” happened. “I will disclose fully what my client told me happened during trial,” Majavu said.
Andre Visage
In an exclusive interview with The Right Perspective, AWB Secretary General Andre Visage said Terreblanche took the two workers to the grocer “so they could buy whatever they wanted for being on the farm over the Easter weekend.” Visage also said he believes the two workers attempted to sodomize Terreblanche before they left.
Police spokesman Captain Adele Myburgh said an autopsy was done on Terrblanche that will reveal if he was sexually assaulted.
“The court will decide why Mr Terre Blanche was killed as well as why his trousers were below his knees. The court will also establish what exactly happened before he was killed,” she said.
Jan Lamprecht
African political analyst and author Jan Lamprecht believes the gay rumors were started as part of a smear campaign by the ANC. “The ANC is trying to find new ways to retrieve the bad PR they had this week and they are trying to find something more forceful to smear Eugene Terreblanche with,” Lamprecht writes. “He’s dead now… so he can’t defend himself.”
Indeed, this is a typical tactic for Left-wing media when reporting on the killing of a far-right leader. A similar situation occurred after the death of Austrian far-right politician Joerg Haider, who was mysteriously killed in a car crash last year, also around this time. Shortly afterwards, pictures were leaked to the media allegedly showing Haider drunk and hugging young men. This “proof” was then backed up by anecdotal evidence from people who claimed Haider frequented gay bars, inferring that he was gay.
The media tactic of slandering a recently-slain far-right leader as gay works to lessen the martyr quality of the deceased in the eyes of the followers, who are typically social conservatives and shun homosexuality. Naturally, since the accused is dead, he cannot defend himself from the charges.

It is not impossible that Eugene Terreblanche had a bisexual (gay) side to him that he only expressed to the bantus, even with his liaisons with Jani Allan and his marriage to Marti. Credible reports that Terre’Blanche was gay long predated his murder, so it’s hardly a new charge invented to slander a “martyr”. I, for one, would not at all be surprised if his murder turns out to have revolved around sex.
I’ve never heard of any such rubbish. The only sex scandal I’ve heard of him being in was the one with Jani Allen, who is very much a woman. -Admin.
