Eugene Terreblanche, 1941-2010
Eugene Terreblanche, leader of the South African far-right group AWB (Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging) was found murdered on his Ventersdorp in the North West on Saturday evening. He was 69.
AWB spokesman André Visagie reports Terreblanche was found in his bed, beaten with pipes and hacked with a machete while he slept at approximately 18:00 South African time.
He was still alive at the time but died an hour later.
Police arrested two Black farm workers, a 16-year-old and 21-year-old, who apparently had gotten into an argument with Terreblanche earlier in the day.
He was also alone on his farm named Villana, or “the home of Anna”. Visagie said that Terre’blanche’s only security were his dogs which were “neutralized”.
Visagie said Terre’blanche was beaten so badly “he didn’t look like Eugene anymore”.
For many, Eugene Terreblanche defined what it is to be a “Boer”. It was his life’s goal to reclaim the Boer Republics, the Transvaal and Orange Free State.
Terreblanche’s murder comes at a time when a South African high court has banned public singing of the ANC battle song, “Kill the Boer,” for its incitement of violence against a specific ethnic group. ANCYL leader Julius Malema may still face hate speech charges for his recent leading of a group of students in singing the song.

Our leader, Eugene Terre’Blanche murdered on his farm
It is with shock, dismay, frustration and the greatest of emotional pain that we were informed that our leader, Eugene Terre’Blanche was murdered on his farm Villanna (meaning “Home of Anna”) just outside Ventersdorp called around 17:00 this afternoon.
Details are sketchy, but from reports by people at the scene there was an argument with one of his black farm workers this afternoon. Later, while he was taking an afternoon nap, the farm worker, incited by others, entered his house and hacked him to death with a panga (chopping knife used for clearing bushes).
When police arrived they found our leader on his bed with mortal wounds to his upper body and head. He was declared dead at 7:00pm.
This news comes amidst reports of Julius Malema’s banned song which calls for freedom fighters of the ANC to “Kill the Boer”.
Our leader did not live permanently on the farm, but rather in Ventersdorp. He visits the farm regularly during the week and on weekends.
Eugene Ney Terre’Blance was born on January 31 1941 and was on of the founders of the Afrikaner Weerstadsbeweging. He dedicated the last decades to realising a dream of freedom for our Boer people and the concept of a Volkstaat, a free state where we could rule over ourselves.
We call on all our supporters, friends and members of the AWB to be calm for now as we mourn the passing of our leader.

1) Your kind keep on suggesting that (the never ending) farm killings are mostly crime related and not politically motivated, can you explain the difference between “Genocide by Crime” and “Genocide by Political Conflict”?
2) Eugene Terre’Blanche is dead, good good-bye and good riddance you say. Seeing that you know that he was hacked and clubbed to death, would you agree that your statement approves over the use of extreme violence at times?
3) Would you agree that it is strange that Eugene Terre’Blanche’s killers were willing to work for a notoriously infamous white supremacist racist in the first place?
3) Usually when an employer disrespects, mistreats or abuse his employee, the employee will take one of the following actions:
a) Grumble and complain but carry on working.
b) Leave the employer and find a different job.
c) Sue the employer or hand over said employer to the CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration).
d) In rare cases the employee may even physically attack his employer in retaliation.
In most parts of the world, hacking and clubbing someone to death would be strongly condemned, especially if it was over a wage dispute. Why in South Africa, is this considered a “compromise” because of the victim’s (mr. Eugene’s) past, can you explain why people such as yourself have this view?
4) Your kind often state that although there are many whites raped and killed, there are many more blacks raped and killed, suggesting of course that whites are not the primary targets. Do you not think that you are perhaps missing the point? Have you perhaps considered -who- is doing the actual killing?
5) A notorious black criminal in a disturbing interview tells a reporter (Louis Theroux – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0UNfHn8xeY) how he kills people and how he enjoys it as well. Afterwards his friend explains how the gangster, called Maleven had a tough life as a kid, how his parents was killed by criminals and how they avenged it, etc, instantly bringing a human touch and perhaps a bit of understanding into the criminal’s choice of lifestyle. Do you find it strange that you tend to feel sorry for this criminal yet have absolutely no compassion for Eugene Terre’blanche’s death? Have you considered that Eugene Terre’blanche also may have had a hard childhood which shaped his mind and ideas as well?
6) South African Indians and Coloureds often claim they have suffered similar struggles during the Apartheid years than the majority blacks have. Why are Indians and Coloureds not also on a killing spree due to a suppressed past in South Africa? Could it be that blacks are perhaps less tolerant and more vengeful than both Coloureds and Indians?
7) You keep saying that things will get better, that the right wing Boere AWB Dutchman are a bunch of angry, short tempered and racists bigots. You say that eventually things will turn around and that people should stop fear mongering. While we are still having 50 murders and 150 rape cases per day, at what point in the future will you decide that enough is enough? At what point will you decide that the government is not capable of stopping the violence, the corruption and the hatred? Will you give it another, say 5 to 10 years, perhaps 20? Have you made that decision yet or will you continue sitting on your behind pointing and laughing at those who are in the thick of things? Those on the farms who loose family members to sickening methods of torture and death on a weekly basis?
8) Have you considered that eventually the black criminals will run out of farmers to kill or chase away? That one day they will stand in your bedroom, holding a knife to your wife’s throat? Do you think that you are special in some kind of way, that they will never harm you, because you stood against Apartheid, against White rule, because you have black friends?
9) Do you consider it impossible for the ANC government to turn into an oppressive government? Considering the amount of corruption and the general lack of morality in government and the examples set by the rest of Africa, why do you think this is impossible? Have you considered that they are already showing signs of an oppressive government?
10) Country after country after country in Africa have fallen to the lure of the same idealogical ideas and the same type of leaders at command. There is one more African country left for these ideological experiments and that is South Africa. Unfortunately every item in the book of failed experiments is being ticked one by one: Corrupt government, check, Xenophobic attacks, check, self indulging and morally corrupt leaders, check, rampaging criminal element, check, collapsing infrastructure, check, unreasonable taxation, check, useless police force, check, forever blaming it on others, check, genocide and intimidation of minorities, check, dysfunctional health care, check. People like the AWB predicted all of this, they were right, you were wrong, the ANC according to you “needs work”, yet the AWB needs to be destroyed. Any thoughts on this?

Mo, let me tell you a short story my cousin. I used to work in Pinetown (industrial area) for about 5 years (1995-2000) and had some great Indian and coloured friends. We played soccer together, braai’d together, no racial tension and all was good. The company I worked for had a little factory with around 10 whites, 50 Indian people, 5 coloured’s and 1 black guy as the delivery boy. Why our Indian manager never employed more blacks I can’t guess, was he perhaps looking after his own kind? Anyway, one day I came out of the office and saw three guys viciously maneuvering around in my car, for a moment I was so shocked I just stood there. But then a rage came over me because it was the third time that year that my car had been broken into. I stormed to the car, one guy saw me, started shouting and they all scattered. I managed to grab one by the shirt and tackled him to the ground. I am built fairly strong and the scrawny guy immediately surrendered. By then other people arrived, we called the cops, his buddies was gone, my car was destroyed on the inside, dash ripped open, seats bent, lock broken etc. But at least we had this one guy. Maybe it will come to a shock to you if I tell you they were all three Indian.
Now here comes the part where you can learn from Mo. I never blamed every single Indian for the incident, life carried on, I fixed my car when I eventually had enough money, etc. See, because I know the difference between good guys and bad guys, I judge each person on their own merits. You on the other hand, judge everyone based on their colour. You do exactly what you blame us for. Your double standards are histerical. White ppl are not loyal to anyone. They will betray their own family, i was handling a case where a son had evicted his 70 year old parents from a flat they were staying in. Fortunately i managed to bring in an urgent application to stop this madness, you should have seen their faces when they came to my office.

It is of note that the AWB website has not been touched nor updated in 2 years and worse, there is no acknowledgement of Mister Terreblanche’s death.
