A Facebook fanpage dedicated to ANCYL leader Julius Malema has been shut down after an alleged supporter posted death threats against Whites and South African president Jacob Zuma on it.
“You f–ing white pigs. Malema is our leader. He will kill Zuma within the next 6 weeks,” Thato Mbateti Mbateti wrote on the Facebook fanpage, which had more than 12,000 supporters. The alleged Malema supporter then went on to graphically call for the “taking back” of “stolen” land and the murder of Whites in South Africa.
“3000 farmers dead since ’94 … we lost more than that … we r far from being even … So kill da boer, kill da farmer,” Thato Mbateti Mbateti wrote.
The post comes shortly after a South African High Court ruling that banned the ANC battle song, “Shoot The Boer” for its incitement of violence against an ethnic group. Malema may still be found guilty of hate speech for his leading a group of students in singing the incendiary song, which the ANC defended.
Malema came under fire in September 2008 for proclaiming that the ANCYL would “kill for Jacob Zuma.”
News of the fanpage spread across South Africa, with political party the Democrat Alliance condemning it and calling for a full police investigation.
The ANCYL and Malema were quick to distance themselves from the Facebook fanpage, saying neither use the social networking site to promote their ideology. The ANCYL claims it has reported pages that promote hate speech, as well as “illegally created and linked” to its leadership.

Hang on a bit there… this looks a lot like a Whitey wrote it as the supporters of the ANCYL are near as damn illiterate.
The schmuck is pulling our chain guys :-))
But the ANC is appealing against the court judgment that Woody Malema can't sing his "Kill the Boer" song anymore.
Preventing them from inciting hatred and death is apparently abusing their human rights. Only in darkest Africa!
I have a lot of respect for Cde Malema but I thing he must stear clear the Zimbabwean issue. Its very sensitive issue and it will be good for him to support democratic processess there than to demonize a party. I am no supporter of MDC but I was a staunch supporter of Zanu PF but not anymore. I have my reasons for moving away from these guys. All I want is to see a democratic space created in Zimbabwe and I dont think Zanu still has the will and capability to do that in a free form. Cde Malema’s comments are not helping the situation. So please Cde we are a desperate lot in Zimbabwe and would want our democratic right to be restored and Cde Malema’s comments will only make it worse fo the marjority of Zimbabweans.
