“Should be an R in there,” ESPN’s Andy Katz corrected Obama upon spotting how the President had misspelled “Syracuse”.
The incident evokes an incident involving former Vice President Dan Quayle, who was corrected by a child for adding an “e” to the end of “potato” during a school photo-op.
“Malia and Sasha are going to tease me about this,” Obama remarked after being corrected.
