Lib Fury At Bush “Miss Me Yet?” Billboard

The billboard in question.

A Wyoming, Minnesota billboard of former US President George W. Bush asking “Miss Me Yet?” has caused an Internet sensation, putting liberals on the hunt for whomever put it up.

Snapshots of the board swept through e-mail inboxes Monday morning, with some suspecting it was a clever GOP Photoshop. However, Wyoming resident and NPR contributor Bob Collins confirms the billboard is very real and can be found on the I-35 near Wrenshall.

Now, progressives and liberals upset that anyone would find 8 years of George W. Bush preferable to one of Barack Hussein Obama are on a mission to find out who put it up.

Oh yes, it's very real....

“Wish I could take credit for it,” Wyoming Mayor Sheldon Anderson told reporters. “Calls every day asking if it was me. If you find out let me know.”

The fact that no billboard ownership plate exists on the display makes finding its sponsor even more difficult.

However, liberals and progressives may be facing a backlash in their attempt to out the person responsible for putting up the billboard. One suspect who turned out not to be the culprit has offered to continue paying for its upkeep should the original sponsor bow out.

Heck, I've been saying that for months. Just tell them it was me. What can they do? This is America, after all. I've put up with their crap for 8 years…or more!

  2. Steve225 says

It would be worth the expense of renting a billboard ad just to have fun pissing off the left. It's about time someone on the right did something this imaginative.

  3. dave says

dont miss him ever. he started all these bailouts.

  4. Candice says

i would love to have this billboard in my front yard…how easy it must be to continue to blame the adminstation before you , even a year later when you have made NO progress…i would still have voted for george bush again if i could have

  7. Diane says

I know the guy who did this.

  8. ron says

Everyone knows that it was the Clintons who put up that sign.

  9. Roger says

Let's see, seven years plus of 'no attacks', reasonable economy (even though the House is mostly responsible for spending and collecting), strong military and (sadly) too much spending (not enough use of the veto) versus "one" year of a fascists nincompoop surrounded by criminals and America haters… yeah, I miss George Bush. Heck, I'd miss Clinton in comparison!

  10. vic says

Totally miss the man… At least he's really from the USA…

  11. Lonnie says

Hell yes he has a back bone. as well as class. he also understands, you achive peace through strength. Stick it to em, before they stick to you. We need some more of these Guys.

  12. Steve225 says

  13. Don Szlezyngier says

Yes, George W. Bush is a real man with a US birth certificate and a former member of the military. He is a man who sticks to his decisions and did not apologize for the US but held this country as the greatist nation on earth. He was proud of us and we were proud of him. The socialist commie we have now wants to be king of the land and all of his to be turned onto his servents. Stand up AMERICA and take your country back from this Leftist Dictator. I'll take a dozen billboards and 500 bumper stickers.

  14. Norma says

he wasn't perfect but he kept our country safe and he LOVED his country… didn't hate it and go on apology tours to every country who would love to see us blown to pieces.

and while he started the bailouts, he's a big enough man to come out and admit that was a mistake. WHEN have you ever seen a liberal admit to a mistake! never … their arrogance won't allow that. They don't make mistakes…they just ignore it and move on making more.

I wish the right would do more of these things to piss off the left. It's about time to fight fire with fire

  15. the forgotten man says

The point is not whether one misses Bush or not. The point is that the liberals try to seek out and try to destroy anyone who expresses an opinion they don’t like. The danger is: sooner or later, that someone might be you.

Love it… This billboard should appear on every interstate in the country.

  47. Seth says

We will stop blaming Bush once his policies cease having an effect on our debt, foreign policy and ability to work in a bi-partisan manner. It will take years to wipe away the stain Bush left behind so I don’t see this changing anytime soon.
