Just 24 hours after winning his stunning election for US Senator from Massachusetts, Scott Brown tells reporters that he is in favor of a universal healthcare plan.
“Just so that we’re past campaign mode, I think it is important for everyone to get some form of healthcare, so to offer a basic plan for everyone is important. It’s just a question of whether we’re going to raise taxes, cut a half-a-trillion from Medicare, we’re going to affect veteran’s care, I think we can do it better.”

Thank God. Maybe we’ll actually get a Republican in there who cares more about the welfare of American citizens than the big-money corporations who usually control the conservatives.
BOOOOOOOOOO to Scott Brown
To offer a basic health plan for everyone does not mean it’s Universal Healhcare. There’s a HUGE, HUGE difference.
has he explained himself yet? Is this out of context?
The right-wing shill media and the establishment presiding over the sheeple are hijacking the Tea Party Movement. I was saying the Emperor had no clothes even during the election, but, sadly, too many people fall for this left/right mentality. They are doing it for this guy who is running for Senate, who voted for the tarp and cap n trade who the media is putting him as a Tea Party candidate. Talk about hijacking.
Offering all citizens an option to obtain PRIVATE healthcare is reasonable. Lumping everyone into a government run and funded system is NOT.
He did not – to say so is a lie!! He said he is interested in healthcare for everyone, not a fed. run system. Also, he said he cared first about his state because he is a Sen. from Mass. first, and since Mass. already has a system in place, he would not support the silly bills.. GEEEZ! Wait to the guy actually votes on something before we throw him to the wolves. Look, I think the guy is a fake too, but compared to the swimmer Teddy – at least we have some hope. 1. He won’t be strong enough to push legislation like the swimmer did, 2. He at the very least can be used as a tool by conservatives, and 3. He is in no position to do anything. You guys should like him, he’s white.
This program is not about insurance folks…. It is about TOTAL CONTROL of everything they will be in control of your health information ,financial n personal business! By mandating (requiring) everyone buy healthcare insurance they are vilolating your constitutional rights (FREE CHOICE) and they know it! They know most people don’t know their constitutional rights so taking them ALL away won’t matter by the time U relize what has happened. They Don’t Care N Is Why They Are Pushing So Hard!! Without the Constitution in place you have no rights n no one to complain to…… they can dictate anything they want you to do! Yes throw out the Constitution! Look up insurance…..it is not a mandate(requirement)….having insurance is a FREE CHOICE DECISION not a Mandate—requirement!!!
