Obama Gives Interpol Carte Blanche In US

Obama_Communist_RedBarack Obama has signed an Executive Order that allows international police outfit Interpol to operate in the United States without any limitations from the Constitution.

Obama’s December 17th signing of an Executive Order Amending Executive Order 12425 reverses a 1983 Reagan administration decision in order to grant Interpol, the International Criminal Police Organization, two key privileges. First, Obama has granted Interpol the ability to operate within the territorial limits of the United States without being subject to the same constitutional restraints that apply to all domestic law enforcement agencies such as the FBI. Second, Obama has exempted Interpol’s domestic facilities — including its office within the U.S. Department of Justice — from search and seizure by U.S. authorities and from disclosure of archived documents in response to Freedom of Information Act requests filed by U.S. citizens.

Think very carefully about what you just read: Obama has given an international law enforcement organization that is accountable to no other national authority the ability to operate as it pleases within our own borders, and he has freed it from the most basic measure of official transparency and accountability, the FOIA.

Constitutional_CrisisThe Executive Order was signed without any publicity other than the previously-linked announcement from The White House. Given the weighty issues it brings up, the Mainstream Media has surprisingly not given any coverage to its signing, either. Only conservative blogs and some conservative talk radio shows have discussed it.

The White House has not responded to any inquiries made about the Executive Order. As National Review Online’s Andy McCarthy put it, the White House must answer these questions: Why should we elevate an international police force above American law? Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies? Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files that will be beyond the scrutiny of Congress, American law enforcement, the media, and the American people?

According to Interpol's charter it is limited to the restrictions of the host country. It may take no action without the host countries permission.

  3. UF says

    Interpol:

INTERPOL is the world’s largest international police organization, with 188 member countries. Created in 1923, it facilitates cross-border police co-operation, and supports and assists all organizations, authorities and services whose mission is to prevent or combat international crime.

INTERPOL aims to facilitate international police co-operation even where diplomatic relations do not exist between particular countries. Action is taken within the limits of existing laws in different countries and in the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. INTERPOL’s constitution prohibits ‘any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character.

Primarily Interpol is a fact gathering organization. It pass on information to police organizations between countries. Get a clue NewsGuy.

It’s apparent that some Liberals/Marxists who read this site cannot comprehend what they are reading.

For example, the resident moron, UF, says that Interpol is bound by the restrictions of the host country and cannot conduct any operations without its consent. This is true..however, Sheik Hussein Obama, by signing that Executive Order, EXEMPTED INTERPOL FROM THOSE RESTRICTIONS.

Per the executive order: “…the ability to operate within the territorial limits of the United States WITHOUT being subject to the same constitutional restraints that apply to all domestic law enforcement agencies.”

The Executive Order “exempts Interpol’s domestic facilities — including its office within the U.S. Department of Justice — from search and seizure by U.S. authorities and from disclosure of archived documents in response to Freedom of Information Act requests filed by U.S. citizens.”

You see, the problem with Liberals/Marxists is that if the truth offends them, they make up their own facts to deal with the conflicts in their sick, irrational minds. They will follow their messiah off a cliff if they have to.

What a bunch of deranged bastards.

Any political or philosophical point I could make has already been covered. The article raises good points and the criticism is weak, at best. I n the interest of adding something positive to the conversation – I love your graphics News Guy. But then, I'm a Conservative political artist and should probably crawl back under a rock where my NEA funded counterparts would prefer me to stay.

Keep up the good work. If we can't ask questions without personal attacks, we have gone a lot farther down the wrong path than it may appear on the surface.

Does anyone remember with more detail the incident that accompanied the 9/11 attacks in which several Americans in NJ observed a group of middle-eastern looking men speaking a semetic language who watched with others as the World Trade Center Towers came down. Apparently cops were called. There was obvious concern that they were terrorists until early news reports identified them as Israeli agents looking for someone? Was that just urban myth? If not, looks like foreign intelligence officers have free reign here already, at least those from Israel.

Go to this website and read: http://www.worldreports.org
the read “OPERATION STILLPOINT TO DESTROY AMERICA’S…”. This is a 45 page article and it tells why Obama signed the resolution. Please read it and let people know what ya’ll think. It’s a shocker!

If you think quoting Hitler is so great, you should have been a jew in WWII and then you might change your mind about how great he was. He was no better than the communist or the socialist liberals in power today in the White House! In fact, he was much worse. Do you want prisons where people will be killed and roasted all because they don’t see eye to eye with their dictator? If you do, then welcome to the new Nazi Aryan country. I tried to get one of you to go to the website http://www.worldreports.org and read it but it seems most of you don’t want to know what is happening behind the scenes.

  13. Endgame says

This is nothing more than an end around. Obama will order U.S. agencies to tread lightly when it comes to invading privacy and profiling while they get the info they need from Interpol. He’ll maintain his terrorist friendly attitude and image for the left while he tries to gain independent votes by cooperating with Interpol investigations into terrorism and the like. Nothing changes other than now he can blame Interpol instead of the U.S. agencies for any breaches of security. Or worse.
