Guilty of Loving Bacon: Hansanali Khoja
A Muslim who claimed he was forced to cook pork products has lost his discrimination lawsuit against Scotland Yard after it was discovered he enjoys a good bacon roll.
62-year-old Hasanali Khoja claimed he felt “stressed and humiliated” after he was told to use tongs and gloves when cooking sausages, bacon, and other pork products while working as a chef for the Metropolitan Police.
His claims of religious discrimination were destroyed after a co-worker testified in court that he saw Khoja eating bacon rolls and sausages at lunch on various occasions.
The judge hearing the case has also ruled Khoja must reimburse the Metropolitan Police for court costs, which run at £76,200 (US $121,640). Khoja, who still works at the Met, claims he cannot afford to pay the amount.

Hey, who cares if he does or does not eat pork! He accepted a job where a variety of foods are prepared to meet the tastes and needs of the MAJORITY of staff. He can stuff it either way, as far as I am concerned, and go back to Pakistan.
He eats bacon, *and* shaves. Whatevs.
Since it is not his sincerely held position, the issue resolved as it should. However, even a Mohammedan–the correct term for a 'muslim'–has rights of conscience in his personal space. As much as I detest their false religion, some toleration must be given for the common good and peaceful order. But they're nut jobs otherwise, and they SHOULD be profiled for air flight not 90 yr old grannies or Joan Rivers!
