Sebastian Pinera shows his vote
After 20 years since the Late, Great, General Augusto Pinochet abdicated from power, a center-right politician is close to winning power in Chile.
60-year-old Sebastian Pinera won 45% of the vote in general elections Sunday. Although a majority, it did not meet the 50% minimum to win outright and a run-off vote against center-left Eduardo Frei will be held on January 17.
Pinera is a Harvard-educated billionaire who campaigned on a law-and-order platform, promising to business acumen to restart the stuttering Chilean economy. He owns media and sporting interests in Chile, prompting many to liken him to Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi. Pinera distances himself from the comparison.
Eduardo Frei
Center-left competitor Eduardo Frei has been struggling to emulate his successor, the Socialist Michelle Bachelet. Pinera lost to Bachelet in a very close race back in 2006. Due to term limit laws in Chile, Bachelet could not run for re-election.
Third-party candidate Marco Enriquez-Ominami, a 36-year-old film director, split the center-left vote with his out-from-nowhere independent campaign.
Rounding out the field was Jorge Arrate, a die-hard Socialist who got the backing of the Communist Party in Chile.
Although a run-off election will consolidate Left-wing support into one candidate, experts give Pinera the advantage due to his large percentage win.

Let's assume the hypothesis is true for argument sake here. If the Solutreans didn't die out in 15,000 BC, that would indicate that American Indians and Solutreans intermarried producing the modern Native American population of which you are not a member of seeing how your direct ancestors stayed in Europe and didn't make the trek westward. Let me simplify this, you accuse American Indians of slaughtering the Solutreans while you ignore the possibility that those same American Indians are direct descendants of those same Solutreans carrying their bloodline. So then European colonists go on a Manifest Destiny rampage tinged with ethnocentrism against those same Amerind/Solutrean descendants and modern white nationalists (that'd be you) are up in arms against those same Amerind/Solutrean people.
