This racist image of Michelle Obama appears at the top of Google Image searches.
Citing “a general bias towards free speech,” Internet giant Google states it will not remove a picture depicting Michelle Obama as a gorilla from its popular image search engine.
Protest e-mails began pouring in when the image started appearing at the top of the search engine results for queries on America’s first Black First Lady.
Google does provide a disclaimer and apology to those who may be offended by the image. A similar policy was instituted after searches for the word “Jew” produced anti-Semitic website results, prompting complaints.

Blacks have always been sensitive to being protrayed as apes. If you were born black, wouldn’t you be? The irony is that some ape characteristics are more like Caucasians, white skin on chimps and thin lips on all the primates. This site is too worthwhile to pander to peurile snickering racism, so in your responses to this post, let’s show a little class.
I do not care for this particular form of cartooning, but I recall several simian parodies of W which went without uproar, and generations of politicians and their families have been depicted as dogs, cats, and the whole menagerie of demeaning associations. Politics is tough business calling for a lot of tolerance and patience on the part of its practitioners.
