Olympia Snowe will fillibuster
This Saturday’s Senate vote on National health care for America looks likely to turn into a long, drawn-out bloodbath as all 40 of the Republicans in the chamber have vowed to filibuster the bill.
Even moderate Republican Olympia Snowe has said she will participate in the fillibuster against Obamacare.
Democrats need to only get 60 votes to proceed to debate, where they only need a majority to pass the bill. This will allow Democrat Senators vulnerable in their re-election 2010 bids a John-Kerry-esque “I voted for the bill before I voted against it” line of politicking, where they can vote for the bill first and then against it to pass the legislation into law.
South Carolina Republican Senator Jim DeMint notes that a vote by Democrats to proceed to debate is a vote on the substance of the health care bill itself.
Senate Democrat leader Harry Reid remained “confident” the 2,074-page, US $2.5 trillion health care overhaul will pass.
“The finish line is in sight,” Reid told reporters.

There is no bill yet and they have not read it just like the non-stimulus bills which are destroying our economy witth rising unemployment, massive spending,debt,deficit. How can the democrats be so corrupt,liars,traitors,out of touch,arrogant,tyrannical,tax cheaters,anti-military,anti-America,anti-CIA,anti-veterans. Obama and his Chicago thugs are robbing and manipulating the American people with the phony jobs supposedly saved or created by the stimiulus bills with the money unaccountable, the voter registration fraud by ACORN,fraudulent absentee votes ,military and economic incompetence,failure to prevent the Fort Hood islamic terrorism .
It's amazing that Dems are so devious and corrupt. Hear the latest? To win over the Louisiana Democrat who's on the fence, Reid is offering $100,000 million in extra aid to her State. Now that's a bribe worth considering–unless you have a conscience.
We have to remember which way they voted comes Nov. 2010. Just a terrible bill that needs to be dumped! God help America.

Contact your senator, congressman, and your other local officials to express your dismay with all of this overspending, stimulus package – which is a big joke and a government run healthcare system… Instead of saving us money, it will cost us all, a lot more money and worse coverage.
