Calls for a paper recount of New York’s embattled 23rd congressional district have risen up after Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman “unconceded” his Election Eve loss, chargeing civil right group ACORN and labor unions rigged the vote.
“There is a real question on the integrity of the election,” said ALG president Bill Wilson. “Litigation to overturn the results and force a new vote or a full paper recount is a real possibility. There appears to be a substantive equal protection claim here.”
“As evidence surfaces, we find out that reported results from election night were far from accurate,” Hoffman wrote on his website. “ACORN and the unions did their best to try and sway the results to Obamacare supporter Bill Owens.”
The Jefferson County Republican elections commissioner told the Watertown Daily Times that Hoffman’s allegations were “absolutely false.”
Meanwhile, The Gouvenour Times reports that a computer virus may have skewered election results in the favor of Democrat candidate Bill Owens.
According to the Times, “At least one County official thus far has raised concern that it’s possible that ALL of the machines used in the NY-23 election had the ‘virus’ but only a few malfunctioned as a result. The counts from any district that used the ImageCast machines are suspect due to ‘the virus’ discovered in Hamilton County, last-minute ‘reprogramming’ by Dominion workers, and security flaws in the systems themselves. A manual paper-ballot recount of the vote could resolve computer vote accuracy questions.”

If this turns out to be true, then I am not surprised. I believe that Americans have been the victim of electoral fraud in one way or another for a long, long time, which only ramped up with the advent of electronic voting.
That’s not to say that electronic voting is inherently bad — indeed I dare say that it would be a simple matter to make electronic voting faster and more secure than our current paper methods. However the current electronic voting systems in use seem almost intentionally insecure.
Now I am not into tinfoil hattery by any means, but I have to wonder WHY we would use 10,000 lines of closed source code without a proper paper/audit trail, when the same thing could be done in a bulletproof fashion with only 2,000 lines of open source code plus a paper/audit trail?
Alex Jones has been talking about the rigged computerized voting machines for years. Amazing to see that he might turn out to be correct.
How sad and ironic that Vegas slot machines have more integrity and oversight than voting machines:

Unfortunately for Mr. Hoffman’s credibility, it turns out that Acorn “has no members, leaders or staff in NY-23 and had no involvement in the recent Congressional election there…”

Perhaps Mr. Hoffman should do a little fact checking, or maybe that would interfere with his fund-raising efforts…
Well that settles it Steve. ACORN would never lie to us.
Who the hell does Steve think he’s kidding! ACORN is involved WHEREVER there is a republican strongly challenging a democrat! Their whole reason to exist is to steal elections, “redirect” votes and register even dead people if necessary to steal an election. They’re a criminal organization but to libs like Steve as we know, the truth means nothing — only the result even if it is ill-gotten! Follow the motto of The RIGHT Perspective — “Don’t ever believe anything a liberal says!”
By the way Steve — the union thugs who are in league with ACORN, couldn’t even tolerate the challenge every-day patriots were bringing to democrat mouth peices of the Obama regime regarding health care “reform” at the town hall meetings and tried intimidating to attendees. This has been a classical tactic of the left whenever they perceive a challenge to their agenda. Thug-ocracy has now been UNIONIZED!!!
I lived in that district for most of my life and I ran for a City position in Plattsburgh. I can tell you first hand that even before Acorn arrived in the North Country the election process in that district had several issues. I only lost my position by 22 votes after intimidation by the opposing party at the election polling places. I can only imagine what happened when Acorn showed up.
