Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez has told his subjects that they should only shower for 3 minutes – and cannot sing while bathing themselves, either.
“Some people sing in the shower, in the shower half an hour. No, kids, three minutes is more than enough. I’ve counted, three minutes, and I don’t stink, ” the Communist ruler said during a televised Cabinet meeting.
While not a hardened rule yet, many of the agenda points Chavez puts out during his weekly radio and television broadcasts are taken as decrees and eventually become law.
Banned: long showers
Chavez gave no explanation for limiting showers to only 3 minutes, but added, “If you are going to lie back, in the bath, with the soap and you turn on the — what’s it called — the Jacuzzi … imagine that? What kind of communism is that? We’re not in times of Jacuzzi?”.
The henchmen surrounding Chavez laughed in agreement with him.
Despite being in the throes of a rainy season, large parts of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, have been going through severe water rationing, with some bans on water use lasting as long as 14 hours a day.

It’s coming here! They’ve already changed the flushometers, showerheads and soon they limit shower time, or number of showers. That’s why they keep talking about how we “need to conserve” water. He stomps on the floor of the U.N. like a monkey in heat so I reckon he uses a couple of hours; his hair looks like wool, his skin is the color of an animal in the jungle and his nose is fat, flat with big nostrils and mashed across his face so I guess he needs four hours a day. Whether he gets that much is the problem of his hooker and his mother.
