It is a birth certificate. I was born in HI and used the same one to join the Navy and get security clearances among other things. It is all HI issues unless you requested one pre 2001.

The media asked HI Dept of Health and were told the truth, it’s his valid birth cert that he already released and allowed the media to inspect. The only one they release to anyone. If you can’t accept that it’s your problem, the media can’t help if you are delusional and uninformed.

Rush quoted the piece by Ledeen, as did I. Both of us, when we found out the source for Ledeen was a satire, acknowledged that in minutes! That’s because even though we quoted it, we continued to – gosh – fact check! Now it is you who keeps quoting Limbaugh, as you also did at my site, when he is obviously being satirical himself, and it’s you who is taking satire seriously! So why don’t you fact check, and go to the Rush transcript readily available on line – and do some checking – or would that cause a headache or nosebleed or something?

Good comedy, to be comedy, must contain an element of truth, and we know how he feels about distribution of wealth. He’s mad at the courts for not going far enough on it. So we stand by the fabricated quote because we know Obama thinks it anyway. That’s how it works in the media today.”

After so many years of mis-labeling and mis-characterizing others he gets smacked down by the NFL “Not For Limbaugh”. Great job NFL.

The media wants to demonize the people who are requesting the information calling them “Birthers.” The media does not understand why these people are in such an uproar about where Obama was born. Perhaps they are unaware that according to the Constitution you have to be a natural born citizen to be the President of the United States.

President Obama has released a document called a Certificate of Live Birth, wherein it states he was born in Hawaii, but it is not the birth certificate. That would be sufficient if the original birth certificate were lost or destroyed. But that is not the case. The original does exist but Obama refuses to disclose it. That is what I find puzzling. Here is a man who in order to gain the public trust, claims he is for transparency, yet he refuses to release the birth certificate or his college papers. Maybe he doesn’t understand the meaning to the word transparency, which according to Webster’s dictionary means clearness, to make bright or clear; to make evident; to free from accusation. When there is a contradiction between what he says and what he does you begin to question, “What is he trying to hide? What will those documents reveal?” The point is not necessarily where he was born, but why he refuses to release the documents.

The freedom of the press is recognized in the first amendment of the Constitution because they are supposed to be the watchdogs over the government.

Eddie, you are the one who can’t seem to think about Obama aside from his Blackness! That’s a point that Rush and others make often and with good reason! It’s like Maureen Dowd hearing in her mind Joe Wilson say “You lie, BOY!” – even though he didn’t – because she, like you, can’t see Obama as anything other than a Black man! If we have a color blind society, then as Rush did, he can call a college student a little boy for, as Rush saw it, disparaging the founding fathers who passed to us the Constitution. Here’s what Rush said, in context:

“The Constitution is the most liberty-promoting and freedom-acknowledging document in the history of the world, and this little boy in college is writing about it with utter disdain.”

Being in my sixth decade, I too have called full-of-themselves and know-it-all college aged youths who presume to judge their elders and betters such terms as did Rush, and it has nothing to do with race! You can’t get over Obama’s race, it is, as my old drill sgt used to say, your personal problem!

Consider the genuinely disparaging and disgusting racist language that did indeed (and no doubt still does) use the term “Boy” for an adult Black man. What’s missing here? They would not call an adult Black man a “little boy”, but merely “boy”. Little denotes age and was more often than not used on an older Black man to be precisely insulting, and as you say no one would use such for folks over say 12, remember this:

“And behind me is a memorial that symbolizes the Ranger daggers that were thrust into the top of these cliffs. And before me are the men who put them there. These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc.”

That was President Reagan at the 40th anniversary of D-Day in 1985, addressing those aging men before him as the boys they were, about Obama’s college age, on June 6, 1944. You are the one hung up on race! Here is a transcript of a Rush show wherein Rush quotes and uses the phrase “The boys of Pointe du Hoc”! Maybe he thought those eighteen to twenty-somethings were all, like, Black, eh?
