American television network ABC is remaking the 80’s classic TV miniseries “V” with certain overtones about the Obama administration.
Watch for the catchphrases in this promotional video, “They gave us hope”, “They call it spreading hope,” plus references to Obama administration manipulation of the media and nationalized health care.

Wow. Just wow. (As Paul of Tarsus said to the Galatians.)
For one thing, I didn’t think anyone could top the original miniseries. I think they did, by eliminating some of the Big Mistakes the original made. (Too much emphasis on uniforms, for example.)
For another, how did they get this past the censors? Or has the entertainment division finally broken free of the news division?
Maybe we should check under their “skin”…
Wow I hope the “other side” will read into this, and apply it to their “savior”. I mean if he’s comparable to the aliens, then it doesn’t make him look too good.
“Compare him to an alien?” Obama IS alien. Alien to anything that is sacred and honorable. Trustworthy and true. Obama is…V!
Obama is also a f–got! I read the Larry Sinclair book.
I love the “Universal Health Care” line. Obama is V!
I agree with Temlakos — I thought ABC was “in the bag” for Bammie. I’m surprised they had the balls to even try something so blatant. As soon as I started watching “V”, I began to think “this reminds me very much of America’s present situation with the Obama administration”. I was going to say something to my wife about it, but decided not to, as she would think I was nuts, looking for another conspiracy theory. But when I listened to the Glenn Beck radio show, there were dozens of callers saying pretty much the same thing about how “V” seemed like a barely disguised replay of Bammies election and policies. I especially noticed how they showed how the younger people were more easily persuaded to side with the aliens. The “Universal Healthcare” line really blew me away!
