David Milibrand
UK Foreign Secretary David Milibrand said that terrorism can be justified, such as when it was used by the African National Congress against Whites living in South Africa during the Apartheid years.
Appearing on BBC Radio 4’s Great Lives show last August, host Matthew Parris asked Milibrand if there were any circumstances in which terrorism could be justified.
“Yes,” replied the British equivalent to Secretary of State. “There are circumstances in which it is justifiable, and yes, there are circumstances in which it is effective.”
“The importance for me is that the South African example proved something remarkable: the apartheid regime looked like a regime that would last forever, and it was blown down.”
“It is hard to argue that, on its own, a political struggle would have delivered. The striking at the heart of a regime’s claim on a monopoly of power, which the ANC’s armed wing represented, was very significant.”
The UK Daily Mail also reports that Milibrand’s father, the academic Ralph Miliband, was good friends with South Africa Communist Party leader Joe Slobo, who shared views on international Marxism.
Milibrand appeared with Slovo’s daughter Gillianon the show as part of a tribute to the Communist terrorist, who once wrote about experimenting with different types of explosives for bomb-making. Milibrand described fondly how, as an 18-year-old, he opened the door to Mr Slovo, who had turned up unannounced at the Miliband family home to discuss politics with his parents.
At one point in the program, Gillian Slovo suggested that if her father was to be termed a ‘terrorist’, then so should ‘the Bush administration for going into Iraq’ because it was using ‘terror to pursue political ends’. Mr Miliband did not contest her assertion – despite the Blair Government’s role in the invasion.

The 7 July 2005 London bombings, also known as 7/7, were a series of coordinated suicide attacks on London’s public transport system during the morning rush hour. The bombings were carried out by four British Muslim men, three of Pakistani descent and one of Jamaican descent who had converted to Islam, all of whom were motivated by Britain’s involvement in the Iraq War.
At 08:50, three bombs exploded within fifty seconds of each other on three London Underground trains, a fourth exploding an hour later at 09:47 on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square. The explosions were caused by home-made organic peroxide-based devices, packed into rucksacks and almost certainly detonated by the bombers themselves. Fifty-six people were killed, including the bombers, and 700 were injured.
I wonder if this precious daughter Gillianon was on that subway train or bus and was one of the victims, how this growth would feel?

Labeling David Milibrand a “socialist” is not hitting the mark – the guy is a true neo-conservative, who worships Trotsky and Marx and only became disenchanted with Communism after Stalin killed their hero Trotsky and started shipping them off to Birobidzhan.
Birobidzhan is a myth! The uninformed and historically ignorant stil believe in this myth that it was a “Jewish” province of the Bolshevik Experiment. It was a ruse by Stalin to get Jews to believe he wasn’t a Judeophobe. It extisted only in Bolshevik propaganda. It is an enduring myth of the Judeophobes. Notice too the term, “neo conservative”, another stealth term used by ignorant Judeophobes for Jews, a “codeword”. It they didn’t have the Jews to blame for everything, they’d invent them! Look up the history of Birobidzhan in “The time of Stalin”, “Stalin’s Last Crime”, “Stalin and the Jews”, “The Road to Terror’ among other works that document this lie. Get your facts straight. We won’t countenance this sort of ignorance on this site!

Apartheid never oppressed blacks in South Africa. Under apartheid, blacks were given their own homelands so they could rule themselves. Apartheid means ‘seperation’, which is exactly what it was intended to do. Seperate whites from blacks. You see, those wise old Afrikaners from those days knew something that many people have been brainwashed into forgetting. That is that blacks and whites cannot live together because it is detrimental to the whites to do so. Under apartheid the millions of blacks in South Africa prospered and had education, healthcare, jobs… everything they no longer have now, under the marxist ANC government.
Jeff, you should try and do some research before spweing out hate like that. Mark my words, Apartheid will make a come back one day, worldwide… Fact is that whites and blacks cannot live side by side because they are different races. If whites want to propser, they have to stop assisting and helping blacks and rather concentrate on their own white people. The world is slowly being converted into a large 3rd world slum with immigrants from Africa and other low-IQ nations. Whites should wake up and think about what their kids and grandkids futures are going to be like. Multiculturism does not work, apartheid was always a good idea and will be a good idea again one day, as long as whites wake up.

The so-called “armed struggle” was an unmitigated failure.
MK, the ANC’s so-called “armed wing” never won a battle, never won a skirmish, and indeed, every time they faced the SADC or the police they were wipped out.
As for this being a battle against “white” South African’s it should also be remembered that 80% of the SAP and the SADF were black South Africans.
The only “successes” of MK were isolated acts of terror such as the Pretoria bomb, which was a “soft target”, and therefore illegal, and the vicious campaigns they waged in the townships against other black groups such as the Zulu Inkatha, (where they were more often than not given a thrashing), and against the general black population, where they used the dreadful nnecklace to terrorise.
For the most part, MK were brutal thugs, but, cowardly and incompetant ones.
If Milliband wants to hold these people up to be admired the man is deluded.

Milliband should bear in mind that there is in the UK a substantial ex-Rhodesian and South African population, and if he engenders hate against us, we too enjoy the protection of the law, and we will use the law to protect ourselves from people like him who engage in hate crime.

It was a false set up, and was nearer N.Korea than to Moscow! It was a barren place where only a few Jews went. It was a myth to counter Zionism which was a crime under the Bolsheviki. Funny, nutjobs like this scream that they Jews were behind Bolshevism, but then how do they explain the fact that the Bolsheviki hated Jews? Then again, the obsessive can’t be argued with.
