Obama Communications Director Anita Dunn has openly praised genocidal dictator Mao Tse-Tung to a high school audience for his decision-making ability.
Dunn appeared at the high school to give advice on life based on people she admires. “And then the third lesson and tip actually come from two of my favorite political philosophers, Mao Zedong and Mother Teresa — not often coupled with each together, but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is, you’re going to make choices,” Dunn told the audience.
“You’re going to challenge. You’re going to say, “Why not?” You’re going to figure out how to do things that have never been done before. But here’s the deal: These are your choices. They are no one else’s.”

What young Zachary will hopefully understand one day is that Collectivism in any form, whether it is Communism, Socialism, Marxism, Fascism, or YES even today’s modern Liberalism; all are philosophies which are immoral and evil. Those who propagate and foster those phrenologies bring the world nothing but fear, ignorance, tyranny, and death! When he starts to open his mind and begins to study history he will find out that this point cannot be refuted.
The futile arguments in favor of Collectivism “like compassion” for “the Poor” that they end up “oppressing”, are easily dismissed with logic, common sense, and historical empiricism.
The biggest myth these mopes end up falling for is that Fascism is a “Conservative” or an “American Right Wing” phenomenon. Fascism is however, to put it simply, “the Right Wing of the Left Wing”. All forms of Collectivism are on “the Left” when you look at the “Political Spectrum Line”. Today’s spineless fence riders who just can’t decide exactly how much government security at the expense of personal freedom they want, are today’s “Moderates” in the middle. “American Conservatives” fall to the right of that. You see, The Political Spectrum is a Freedom meter! The more you believe in “Freedom and Liberty for the Individual” the more to the right you go on the Line. As Conservatives, we believe in as much freedom from government control that you can have consistent with that of an orderly society. If of course you go far beyond that and believe there should be NO Government at all, you then reach the “extreme Right Wing” which is Anarchism (from Greek which means No ruler). There is No such thing as “Right Wing Collectivism”. As there is no such thing as “Left Wing Anarchism”.

What about a close friend who needs to stay on your couch for a few weeks?
What if that friend was really ill, and had no money and couldn’t work? He should just starve to death right? Because it would be EVIL to share food, or shelter with someone, right?
Collectivism is the basis for all human society. If humans had never worked _together_ as a tribe, we wouldn’t be alive today. I’m not defending evil dictactors who kill their people, because they are in the wrong. But that doesn’t make you right.
Every society in the entirety of human history, involves giving a percentage of individual wealth to the group. Now you may argue how high that percentage should be, but zero percent is not a viable number for success.
And on topic: This lady is a moron for making that statement in her position.

He says fascism is “collectivism” and “the Right wing of the Left wing.” Yet this is the same asshole who has said several times on The Right Perspective that he wants to deports American citizens simply for their political views.
THAT is fascism.
John from Connecticut is a “conservative,” for lack of a better term. Actually, he isn’t. He’s just a fascist. His form of fascism comes from corporate control of the population, instead of state control. He is against NPR because the government pays for it (which isn’t 100% true anymore btw) yet has no problem with Clear Channel owning practically all the radio stations, not to mention music venues and other broadcast media. He is against a public option for health care yet has no problem with removing barriers so that health care insurers can compete across state lines, which will eventually wind up in America having a health care version of Clear Channel.
Oh, and John from CT is an asshole. So that makes him a fascist asshole.
Matt brings some very good points to the table. While John of CT views Socialism as an economic policy applied by the government on the people, socialism done within a community can be a very beneficial thing. Take The Right Perspective, for example – it is a “collective” effort, even though it is not “Left wing”. People contribute articles to the website and show, and pitch in with different things, including donations to keep the show on shortwave. It’s a not-for-profit venture (as far as I know, I don’t have any way to see exactly how much money comes into the mailbox all the way from Iceland) so perhaps John from CT should rethink his position on this.
But he won’t, because HE IS AN ASSHOLE.
Fascism is not about “collectivism” like socialism or communism are, nor is it “wealth redistribution” like Marxism is. Fascism is about absolute control of power of a group of people, most times a nation. The dictator has absolute rule and no one can question him. It is not an economic system as John from CT groups it together with.
Fascism is also not about the Left of the Right. There have been Left-wing fascists, like Pol Pot, Fidel Castro and Kim Jong Il, and there have been right-wing fascists, like Augusto Pinochet and Francisco Franco.
Again, fascism is about power and control and is not an economic policy or exclusive to one end of the political spectrum.
