Ahmadenejad inadvertedly shows his Jewish roots
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, infamously known for denying the Holocaust and calling for the state of Israel to be “wiped off the map,” has been revealed to have Jewish family roots, reports Britain’s Daily Telegraph.
The discovery comes from analysis of a photograph of the Iranian president holding up his identity card during elections in March 2008. A close-up of the document reveals he was previously known as Sabourjian – a Jewish name meaning cloth weaver.
The Sabourjians traditionally hail from Aradan, Mr Ahmadinejad’s birthplace, and the name derives from “weaver of the Sabour”, the name for the Jewish Tallit shawl in Persia. The name is even on the list of reserved names for Iranian Jews compiled by Iran’s Ministry of the Interior. It is believed Ahmadinejad’s family changed their name after converting to Islam.
“This aspect of Mr. Ahmadinejad’s background explains a lot about him,” said Ali Nourizadeh, of the Centre for Arab and Iranian Studies. “Every family that converts into a different religion takes a new identity by condemning their old faith.”
Allegations of Ahmadinejad’s Jewish history have been floating around since Mehdi Khazali, the son of Ayatollah Khazali, called for an investigation into the Iranian president’s family origins on a blog. Khazali was later arrested amid protests of Ahmadinejad’s disputed re-election.
Iran is home to the largest population of Jews in the Middle East outside of Israel, reports the Daily Telegraph in a separate article.
Ron Gidor, a spokesman for the Iranian embassy in London, had no comment on the news.

I see the rag-head Islamos and skull-capped Zionists as 'cousins' (woven from the same cloth) And yes, I have visited many a library, attached to a synagogue, and spoke to many rabbis over a period of many years while I was busy studying Yahweh's Word and HiStory (checked against secular history and archeology) and came to the conclussions I have and express today.
I also don't belong to any religious, political and any other ideological group or sect. I'm simply a free-thinker who doesn't follow any person, including priests, ministers, pastors and rabbis if I don't believe that what they say is in accordance with the Bible.
