Degenerate Dirtbag Curtis Sliwa is set to testify in his defense against remarks he allegedly made about a controversial Brooklyn imam.
Siraj Wahhaj claims both he and his mosque, the Masjid At-Taqwa, were slandered by Sliwa when the red-bereted talker said, “They’re running guns to Canada” during a CUNY panel discussion in 2003.
“Those are very serious allegations in light of the fact that people already look askance at Muslims, given the things that have happened over the past nine years,” Wahhaj’s lawyer, Tarik Davis, told reporters. “It’s out of bounds and reckless and I believe that Mr. Sliwa knew it wasn’t true.”

Lawyers for both sides began picking jurors for the trial on Thursday, which will be held in a Brooklyn court.
Sliwa’s lawyer Paul Siegert called the lawsuit “an important case,” and plans to defend his windbag of a client on First Amendment grounds.
Sliwa was sued for slander by magazine publisher Frank DiMateo back in April for a YouTube video in which the Guardian Angels founder alleges DiMateo is funded through mafia connections.
