Left-wing activist group ACORN has filed suit against the makers of a video that showed members of its Baltimore chapter advising a fake pimp and hooker on how to cheat the tax system.
ACORN contends the audio portion of the video was illegally obtained as Baltimore requires two-party consent for sound recordings.
Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams, the two ACORN employees shown in the video, were fired after the footage was broadcast and have suffered “extreme emotional distress,” according to the lawsuit.
The US Senate voted to defund ACORN after the videos were aired.
James O’Keefe and Hanna Giles, who played the pimp and prostitute in the video, and Andrew Brietbart, who first published the videos on his website, were named in the multi-million dollar lawsuit.
I still believe that good will overcome evil–and this evil racket will wind up shooting itself in the foot. I can’t WAIT to see what comes out in this investigation!!!

I think this is great. Now ACORN has provide EVERYTHING that the defense lawyers request. This discovery process will absolutely distroy the corrupt ACORN organization that has exhisted for the past 39 years. And it may involve criminal activity clear up to and including the Whie House and many of Obama’s staff members. I can’t wait until the auditors and the forensic accountants discover and make public all of their criminal activities.. I see a lot of the ACORN employees headed towards the State and Federal prisons system. Or if they were smart, the would be making plans to leave the country for places that they could not be found. Finally we are getting some justice.
Great! They want to sue? Then they have to submit “full disclosure” of everything which they claim was “misused”. As defendants, Breitbart, Giles and O’Keefe have a right to have them open their books and PROVE that they have been “wronged”. As for the Thompson and Williams, they were obviously participating in an illegal action by instructing the “pimp” and “prostitute” on how to break the law, how to phony up documents to evade taxes, and how to violate basic human rights by helping these O’Keefe and Giles to bring in, illegally, young girls for prostitution. Sorry, but my heart does NOT go out to them! They broke the law, they were more than willing to have other people suffer (i.e., the children) and to chance the spread of disease. In the age of AIDS, co-operating with such a venture could possibly even be considered to be accessories before the fact to murder!
