Russian Iskander missile launchers
Russia has announced its own plans to deploy missiles near Poland after Barack Obama said the United States would not deploy a missile defense system in Central Europe.
In a Saturday radio interview, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Vladimir Popovkin said his country’s plans to put Iskander short-range missiles in the Kaliningrad region was now unnecessary because the Polish-Czech missile system was scrapped.
A 60-day review of the Bush-era policy concluded Iranian missile capability had been overstated. The review has found that the Islamic regime’s missiles do not have the capability to reach Europe, and it is far from being able to process weapons-grade uranium.
Poland’s Foreign Minister Radek Sikorsky called the timing of the announcement clumsy, noting that it came on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of his country during World War Two.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton emphasized Friday that America was not abandoning its NATO allies in Eastern Europe, as it deploying more comprehensive missiles systems in both Poland and the Czech Republic.

yup-btw I don’t believe the garbage about Iran is “far” from processing weapons-grade uranium. Nope-not at all.
Say what you may about George Bush, but it was an excelent chess move on his behalf to initially install that missile defense system in Poland, that coupled with the skirmishes in Georgia in 2008. The Russians are only too happy to cooperate with the US on Iran now. Yes, it looks we’ll be going to war with Iran or allowing Israel to bomb them soon and Russia won’t stand in the way.
Obama has no guts, and is content to let Isreal take on the Facist Irianian government alone if they need to do so. Of course this is another campaighn promise that he has broken, among the dozen or more that he make during his campaign for the President election process. It would seem that any lie is fine with him, but he has to keep lying more and more to try and keep track of the previous lies that he has committed to., He is providing the rope that eventually hang himself.
