CNN Capitol Hill correspondent Lisa Desjardins could barely do a live report from the National Mall in Washington, DC Saturday, as the 9/12 Project brought 2 million people to the nation’s capitol to protest a government takeover of the American health care system.
At the start of the interview, anchor Fredricka Whitfield “forewarns” the audience that there might be some yelling during the report.
Desjardins struggles to get through the interview in front of chants of “tell the truth” and “go home, CNN”. After Whitfield asks Desjardins to “give it one more shot,” the protesters start chanting Glenn Beck’s name.
The brave reporter then attempts to ask the protesters a question: “What do you think of Congressman Joe Wilson?” The crowd reacts with applause, then starts chanting, “Way to go, Joe.”

At a Judiciary Committee hearing on April 3, Leahy asked Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, himself a former Federal judge, if he had doubts that McCain was eligible to serve as President.
“My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen,” Chertoff replied.
“That is mine, too,” said Leahy….End of quote from Senator Leahy’s communication. Note the use of the words “…American parentS”, which is the plural form, thus proving beyond all doubt the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which Senator Obama was an acting member, decided that BOTH PARENTS (meaning TWO parents, not one) are legally required to be American Citizens at the time a child is born to them in order for the child to attain the Constitutionally required status of “natural born Citizen”. Obama’s father was in the U.S.A. on a student visa and Obama Senior was NEVER a Citizen of our nation. Obama’s eligibility has never been investigated by ANY committee – why not?! Is Obama somehow magically exempt from all public scrutiny regarding his Constitutional qualifications and his background? Obama’s first official act as president was to sign Executive Order number 13489 on 21 January, 2009, which permanently sealed all his public and private records. So much for his instantly broken campaign promise of “transparency”. Obama is now desperately fighting to keep his TRUE background hidden from the American people at any cost! I think she did a good job in tough circumstances. She actually quoted the crowd, and included them in her report. By addressing the crowd, they had to quiet down – pretty smart.

I’m a VFW veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and I believe the way us true conservatives, Libertarians, Constitutionalists, and any other independent or soul that disapproves of President Obama’s distribution of wealth/ socialism agenda is doing a fine job of opposing our direction.
