Saying it recognizes the South African government “promotes a tolerant, multi-racial society,” Canada has gone to court of try to overturn a ruling by its Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) that gave refugee status to a White South African for racial persecution.
“With regard to the Brandon Huntley case, the government is seeking leave to challenge the IRB decision before the Federal Court,” a spokeswoman for Canada’s federal citizenship and immigration department said.
South Africa’s ruling ANC government demanded an “urgent overview” of the ruling almost immediately after it was handed down, accusing the Canadian government of “racism” for the decision. ANC deputy secretary-general Thandi Modise disputed White refugee Brandon Huntley’s claims of racial persecution, stating that Black-on-White crimes in South Africa are rare.
The finding by its IRB that SA was unable and unwilling to protect its White citizens from persecution by Black people was “independent from the views of the government’ in Canada,” its Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade said. But Canada “respects the independence” of the IRB, which it describes as a “quasi-judicial” body.
The Canadian Federal Court will take about a month to decide whether to hear the case and if it agrees to do so, it will hold a hearing roughly three months after that, said a spokesperson.
If the court did examine the case, it would stick to the evidence presented to the initial panel and would not be able to consider additional material.
More than 3,000 White South African farmers and farm workers have been murdered in Plaasmorde attacks, the characteristic home invasions and murders perpetuated by Blacks against Whites, since the so-called “turn over” in 1994. Thousands more have been killed by Blacks since 1994, yet the ANC government will not release official statistics.

I am confident that you are very well aware of this, but for people who do not know, the wording in the article above might give the impression that this is the total number of murders committed through home invasions. That number would be staggering – that is if the corrupt ANC govt. actually published those statistics.
There are thousands of white people attacked, tortured and killed in urban areas too, usually by gangs of thugs.

What the hell’s a ‘turn over’?This is what happens when people write articles about a country they care or know little about.By ‘turnover’ I assume you are referring to the end of Apartheid that was miraculously engineered by the transitional government, without the country descending into open civil war.But enough about that,Apartheid was something that didn’t directly negatively affect Brandon,or you, so clearly its ‘turnover’ is something to be dismissed and put in quotes.
Cape Town,near where Brandon ‘fled’ from,is in the Western Cape,a province that has a white majority.
It’s mostly run by white people at senior levels and it voted in the DA,a white led party.
It has a much lower crime rate than the rest of the country and the murder rate of white people there is probably half the rest of the country.
Speaking of the murder rate,38 out of 100 000 people are murdered in South Africa each year. Of these, 1 in 33 murders happen to white people.Poor Brandon,against these odds he never had a chance eh?
Huntley has to blame the fact that he’s unemployed on affirmative action policies in South Africa that supposedly stopped him from getting a job,despite the fact that 4% of white south africans are unemployed, compared to 27% of black south africans.
No it couldn’t be anything to do with him being educated to the level of a carnival attendent and sprinkler salesman(his previous jobs),No!Prospective employers were just all racist!Hmm.

first, there are many jobs in Canada still, even though the world is going through economic hardship. in fact Canada added 27,000 jobs to her economy last month compared to 250,000 or so that were lost last month in the USA. second, the majority of the people on this site are against ILLEGAL immigration. third, 280,000 people immigrate to Canada each year many of whom are refugees and can not read and write in their native language let alone english !! ONE white guy from South Africa is causing such debate ?! again, South Africa should be happy, after all, arent they ALWAYS saying that the whites should go back to Europe ?!

And also try some Mathematical and Statistical exercises before you cite meaningless numbers. One in 33 people are white, but what is the white population SIZE compared to black population?
If whites are murdered at a rate of 1:10 compared to blacks, but the white population is less than a tenth of that of the black population, they are murdered at the same ratio in relation to their population. I’m sure you still don’t get this, so let me use a grade 2 example for you.
You have 30 apples and I have 10. You eat 3 a day and I only 1. I only consume a third of the apples you do every day, yet after 10 days we both have nothing. We each consume 10% of our population every day.
Finally – try to learn how statistics are APPLIED for the use of propaganda in South Africa and you might be able to distinguish between useful and BS ratios.

The canadians are wanting to deport huntley but dont mind giving residence permit to south african surgeons & docters who have been convicted of illegal kidney transplants in south africa.Maybe because many canadian docters & surgeons in canada are running away to the u.s.a for better wages.
