I have never been to South Africa, but living in Canada I know many whites who have come here from SA, and all say the same, it is impossible to live there now because the blacks are so racist and dangerous towards white people. I find it funny how blacks always act like no matter what black people do to white people its not considered raciest but if a white person looks at a black wrong they are white supremacist. I don’t think thre is any point in trying to reason with these people

I am a black South African. I’ve realised that the comments made in this forum are mostly from white supremists and people who have never been to South Africa. We black Africans have a spirit of Ubuntu and do not judge a person by the colour of the skin. It is true that crime is a problem but it is affecting all races especially blacks (due to poverty). The claims made by Brandon are false and immature. The South African working very hard to fight crime and has increased the metropolitan police. It is unfair to expect the government to undo the 400 years old damage in just 10 years. Nevertheless, the South African government has improved the quality of life for its citizens.
My message to open-minded people all over the world is to stop listening to immature people like Brandon and to come see the facts for themselves. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

what is wrong with this man wanting to come to Canada, come on people SA is a crap hole, my ex sister in-law was recently attacked on a small horse farm suffering a beating at age 62 and living on her own ,it takes real brave people in any country to do this, there are over 1500 white farmers murdered in South Africa. A quarter of the population have been infected by aids. (would make me want to live there, NOT) If they turn this around then they should re- visit hundreds and hundreds of past refuge claims!
I know its wrong to say this( but f–k it anyway) It appears that the Canadian government does not want white folk to come to Canada its one of the hardest groups to get accepted, maybe the news media should get the stats on what segment of the population gets the most handouts in our society. but hey you can do that yourself just attend any swearing in ceremony, welfare or unemployment office. The poor whites in SA are in just as bad situation as poor blacks when it come to crime. Spot on VI – I think the days of using Apartheid as excuse for crimes committed by the ANC govt is over. Because not protecting certain groups (like white farmers) because of their skin colour, is a crime.

And we know other minority groups are also sidelined by the SA govt – so how can that be racist from the complaining parties?

The ANC is now reaping what they have been sowing for more than 14 years of crime, corruption and murder. Or have people forgotten about the corruption cases against Zuma and how these are conveniently dropped? What does that tell you about the ANC govt?

For those proclaiming that Huntley is a white supremacist that benefitted from Apartheid, you are wrong. Apartheid has been dead since, effectively, 1990 (the unbanning of the ANC), and officially since 1994. Huntely is only 31, so that means that in 1990 he was 12 years old, hardly old enough to have been “influenced” by Apartheid.

Wow! I have heard a lot of racist comments made here in the midst of decrying the other races for being racist! Two wrongs do not make a right, people. Apartheid was wrong. But so is any racism displayed toward whites by blacks. There can be no tolerance for racism from ANYONE!

Racism is racism. It is wrong. Period. –It is NOT made right by reason of crimes that were perpetrated against one’s race in the past. If there is ever to be any hope of stopping it, it has to be stopped by ALL PARTIES. This is not a case of “now it is OUR turn to be racist”!! It has to stop somewhere, and the only way to do that is for each person to say to themselves, ” The beginning of the cessation of hostility begins here and now. It starts with ME. I choose to see people for what is in their hearts –not the color of their skin.”

Like someone said, their are good, evil, educated and uneducated, honest and dishonest, hardworking and lazy, kind and unkind people of every race. It is never a good thing to make negative stereotypes about races because it does an injustice to those who ARE good, honest, hardworking, kindly people. We are all God’s children. So be kindhearted to all even to the point of loving your enemy.

Good News! Christ has broken down the middle wall of partition between us. We are ONE! There is no black or white or red or yellow or brown. We are one people.

PERSECUTION – RACISM – IF B.E.E. – BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION CANNOT BE DEFINED AS MISTREATMENT AND AN INFRINGEMENT ON A RIGHT EVERYONE ONE IS ENTITLED TOO. Go look at it`s definition before you talk like your government does.
Then redefine equality as a human right in your warped sense of reality. I am an SA citizen and deserve the same as anyone else, people in government wont agree, they got their status as directors and board members – white citizens has to be replaced in all aspects of our lives. As in Zim, they have learned from Mugabe what you can get away with , and they are doing it. THIS WITH A PRICE ALL SOUTH AFRICANS HAS TO PAY. A DRUNK JUDGE MADE RACIST REMARKS – TODAYS NEWSPAPER – BEELD – ONCE AGAIN TALK ABOUT RACIST REMARKS AGAINST WHITES MADE BY POLICE… I don`t hate, we have been sorry for too long, we have said sorry for too long – they cannot play on feelings of quilt forever – especially if we were the ones that made the changes happen in S.A., what we need now is a democratic right to equality for the ones that are merely paying for the sins of the past – even if you were not one responsible for what happened in the past…

Racism is wrong period. We know this but, from reading the heart harding racial hatred coming from some whites on this post it makes one wonder. It’s a good thing all white people are not like many of you here. And it is really sad for some of you to think that no othert people are civilized or can do anything right than white people. That lets me and others know that the white supremacist mindset is still going strong right to it’s grave. I could never be filled with that deep hatred many of you speak of for anyone of any complexion. It shows how sick and stupid people who think they are superior to others really are.
