This lady is off her rocker. First of all Fidel Castro overtook the Cuban government through a violent overthrow of the government and he is also communist. He lived richly and the cuban people didn’t. Where is the fairness in that. No one said he was stupid he is smart and knows how to work the people and other nations. However, if he was so great why did the people flee Cuba? If his health care is so great why do the people who fled Cuba have to send medicine,food and clothing to there families in Cuba. If this woman believes this man is so great go live there. So far Obama is shaming the American people. How dare he apoligize for our country

I licws in CubA til I was 11 yr old as my father worked for United Fruit Company. The Batista government was thoroughly corrupt and violent and controlled by the Mafia and US corporations. 70% of all mans of poduction, (refineries , sugar mills etc), were owned by North Amer. companies. The Mafia controlled gabling and prostitution in Cuba. Castro was popular at first—- but even now is still popular. Cubans arriving today in the US are given $11500 of US taxpayer money, a physical, instant eligible for welfare, food stamps and 5 yr forgiveness of federal income tax and Social Security. There is no such thing as an “illegal,” Cuban alien in the US as they are coddled and legal upon setting foot ashore no matter how they got here. The Cuban economy is in shambles because of our failed foreign policy and Cuba’s failed economic system—– lift the Embargo and give Americans our right to free travel back that Miami Cuban hijacked, and the Castro government will fall or change. We still haven’t forgiven them for defeating the mercenary army we hired to invade the country or the countless attempts we made to assassinate the legal head of the Cuban government.
