Quit freeloading off of American Corporations and start paying for your own health care like other nations. What is more “socialist” than making your employer responsible for your health care…I ask you? And you wonder why American Corporations are leaving in droves.

How about being responsible for your own health care through a tax based single payer system like other successful healthcare systems in civilized countries around the world.

It is freeloaders like you who put unecessary burdens on the American Corporations and expect them to finance your healthcare for you. You think nothing of making your employer responsible for your healthcare and therein lies the real problem why American based companies are leaving in droves.

Please, you are delusional at best. Just because you and others are getting in line for the ovens willingly..doesn’t mean that everyone should follow you. The smart ones know the Jig is up and have had enough. Some will not go willingly into the deep dark night. What a totally fabricated lie that 70 – 80% of Americans are satisfied with their healthcare. What healthcare are you speaking of because there is none in the US. Only plan is to have people like you freeload off the American Corporations to pick up the tab for your health care. No wonder they are leaving in droves for greener pastures where health care is one less overhead they don’t have to worry over.

p.s. ian, such nonsense from you. you’ll take little guy socialism over greedy, traitorous, profit for all cost fascism. it is laughable on so many levels that you come to that conclusion from your opposition. is that truely the way u think ? why are trying to paint all who disagree with you with such an absurdly broad brush? the fact is that giving the government control of our healthcare make it much more of a fascist government. we are for less government interference in the private sector. and in case your not familiar with the republican ideas for tweaking the healthcare system, how about torte reform, medical savings accounts, the ability to transferi your healtcare from state to state, a catastropic health care option for those truely in need,and more. but the whitehouse has a majority of a complicit media that does their propaganda for them and you don’t get to hear the right ideas. after all, wasn’t it abc, a national public network, that devoted a full half hour to the financially unsustainable government run healthcare plan of obama and refused to allow any alternate voices? the network even refused paid commercials that would run the republicans alternatives. so there really is no debate is there? just more urgency from obama to shove another massive government bureaucracy down our throat and you so willing to accept. and by the way, God helps those who help themselves. put down the ipods and cell phone, delay the purchas of a new hd lcd tv or other luxuries and use that money toward you own health care.

i can’t help but wonder if ian is being disingenuous or just a dope. we don’t consider any program that helps a “little guy”as socialist. why do you come to that conclusion? social security helps out more than just the “little guy”, it helps us all. medicare was a good idea also. The problem with these and other government run programs is that the fraud, waste and abuse is rampant and uncontrollable. Any large bureaucracy is inefficient. why give the federal government all the control and power of our healthcare system? they run nothing well. don’t u get it ian? they misappropiate funds. they have nothing but poor track records. and yes, the military has bureaucracy problems but at least we are kept safe in the process. haliburtin got the contract in iraq because we had to act quickly and the bidding process would have taken too long. they went with a known entity with a good track record and while there was some impropieities ( see any big governemt beuracracy) the vast ammount of money was well spent. fraud and waste should be scrutinized everywhere but at least we are being protected. in addition, even if government healthcare was run well today, what about when the current group of duplicitious leftie nuts are finished? Programs change as politicans needs and whims change. at least with “evil corporations” you have recourse in the courts. when politicans stole your social security money, what could be done about it? i think that people don’t realize that greedy and corrupt individuals don’t just go to work for corporations, they go into politics too. politicans can be just as greedy and corrupt as the worst corporate offenders. politicans get “bought off” with bribes, lobbying special interest groups and sweetheart deals for themselves ( see obama and tony resco) etc. and whats with the backward mentality of “if you don’t want the feds running healtcare, then you shouldn’t take money from any government run program”? the point is fix what u have now, don’t add our most personal and private resouce of healtcare to an inept system.

You turkeys talk about big government, but what about the “big government” of sinking billions of taxpayer dollars into the military industrial complex, and wasting billions of dollars in no- bid contracts on scumbag Halliburton. Or expanding the powers of “big government” with the Patriot Act?! Now now Perry. Would you rather pay $550.00 a month for health insurance monthly or have a tax rate of 60% taken out of every paycheck for the rest of your life. Even the CBO ( Congressional Budget Office ), a non partisan government accounting office says the Omama plan won’t work. Most people are in favor of tweaking the system for some kind of catastrophic coverage. I wouldn’t wish anyone to lose their job or their healthcare. PAT, I agree with you and support the President in health care reform. I am paying $550 a month and co-pay is $40 for doctor and a $2000 deductible for hospital/diagnostic.

For those who oppose health care reform, I wish they would lose their jobs, lose their health insurance, get real sick and have to sell their home to pay the doctors and hospital.

You will see them crawling back and vote with their hands and feet.
