Welfare Familes Blow Stimulus On Booze And Smokes

welfare-state2A NY State program to spend US $140 million of stimulus money on school supplies for children on welfare has backfired after families receiving the money spent it on other things including flat screen televisions, cigarettes and beer.

The program, initiated by NY Governor David Patterson, also got US $30 million in seed money from Socialist billionaire George Soros and the backing of New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg. The project broke down to about US $200 per family.

FOX News was tipped off to the mishap after Wal-Mart managers reported throngs of welfare recipients buying flat-screen televisions with their debit cards. Gas station owners from upstate New York also reported beer and cigarette runs with welfare money.

Officials are blaming a lack of communication with recipients on what the extra money was for, which unexpectedly appeared on debit cards last Tuesday. As rumors circulated about what the sudden bonus, lines around the block at Western Union offices in New York City developed with people trying to secure the amounts.

Here is a FOX News report on the scandal:

WHAT DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN?? Here is Chicago the “poor” people get LINK cards. They take the debt card, max it out on bottled water, and then resell them $1 a bottle on the street! 100% profit, thanks to the tax payers.

Cancel all welfare programs. Have soup kitchens for the hungry, and hand out the school supplies the first day of school.
Or have drug testing for welfare, they do it for employment so why not for handouts?

Since when did these welfare parasites ever give a damn about their kids’ education in the first place? The “mothers” are nothing but strung-out, welfare brood sows who are either drunk or high on drugs most of the day, and the sperm donors who impregnated them are nothing but tenement-dwelling thugs who run around dipping their “stick” into anything with a pulse. The politicians knew the money was going to be spent on everything OTHER than school supplies in order to secure their voting bloc…Bloomberg, included.

It’s a damn shame that the rest of us who pay taxes are footing the bill for this political scandal.

Hey, why not include in the “healthcare reform” bill, mandatory sterization for the brood sows who knock out little bastards with no regards to their upbringing except that we tax paying fools pay for them? Did the Foreign Occupier ever consider how much THEY are are costing us? Instead of cutting medical care treatment, how about tying their tubes? And don’t forget the bucks who service them~

  8. Quest for Knowledge says

Let’s be real for once. These brood sows that you speak of are suposedly Afican Americans right? For once why don’t you all look at the statistics: blacks only make up 12% of this country’s population and 37% of the welfare role. On the other hand, whites are the majority population and make 61% of the welfare role. You gaze is always on African Americans because it is a way to scapegoat on the issue that there are white people in America that are just as poor as some blacks if not poorer. Many African Americans use this “system’ for survival becuase of the institutionalized racist systems that continue to work against this minority group everyday (eventhough white America will not admit to it). When African Americans are paid a lower wage for the same work, charged higher insurance rates (supposedly because of living in high risk areas) which could be next door to you, and are often denied work even when they are clearly qualified, I guess it is esay to say that they are the biggest welfare recipients. Read before you speak and you will get a real since of the issues and why things are the way they are.

    Quest for Knowledge,

Who said anything about the “brood sows” being African American. I think the point of the commenter was that the people who abuse welfare by having numerous children because it gets them more money should have their tubes tide in order to curtail a large number of future welfare recipients. I think your “enlightened” view shows that you have more of a stereotype in your mind as to who these welfare brood sows are.

  10. The Great Frank says

I also think that your response shows that you suffer from paranoia of colour! You can’t function if you don’t think that you’re being victimized. You use the same of pathetic saw of “racism” when and where it doesn’t exist. In other words, GET OVER IT!!!

I could not have said that better myself. I agree with everything you said, and Aryan your a fool.

  12. Quest for Knowledge says

As a matter of fact Favill, The Great Frank called the walfare recipients “brood sows”. Let’s put a name to the faces of which we speak. Please allow The Great Frank to enlighten me. Who are the ‘brood sows?” On another note, I am by far not paranoid about color and can truly spot racist attitudes more than a mile away. The Great Frank tells me to get over it because I can’t seem to function unless I think that I am being victimized, but how many of you have been stopped by police because you supposedly “Fit the profile?” Yes, I took the conversation to another place to explain the victimization that he speaks about. As for the welfare recipients; I don’t see myself as having a stereotype about who the supposed “brood sows” are. I see It is merely your inability to let your true thoughts of who YOU think they are be known. I am merely seeing it through the eyes of how most white Americans view the welfare role.

By the way, Great Frank, what are you trying to say with this line: “You use the same of pathetic saw of “racism” when and where it does not exist.”

  13. favill says

    Quest for Knowledge,

Interesting that you mention your race and that you don’t have a preconception of a stereotypical “welfare mom”. Here in Canada, most of our “brood sows” are white and they pump out kids like there is no tomorrow because they get more money for every child they have. These children eventually burden the public school system–taking up an inordinate amount of the teacher’s time because of behavioural problems.

Furthermore, because of the typical welfare lifestyle (drinking, drugs, smoking) they use up the resources of our universal healthcare system more than the average working citizen or his/her family so much that when I need to take my kid in for falling out of a tree, we have to wait behind these parasites because they need a note from the doctor saying that they couldn’t go to a job interview because they’ve got the sniffles.

Since my wife and I are both “chump” tax payers, I reserve the right to call these parasitic people anything I want–because I pay their bills, I put food on their table, clothes on their back and heat in their homes. I also probably pay for their cable or satellite so that they can sit back and relax, especially during those really frigid days in February. By the way, I am neither white nor am I black. However, I do know a parasite when I see one of any colour. And I think that racism today is nothing more than lazy people who don’t want to apply themselves trying to capitalize on “white” guilt. Or when inconvenient truths are brought to light–then the one who speaks the truth is a “racist”–in effect it is the last refuge of the scoundrel or the liar.

Let’s be clear there is a difference between poor and welfare. The working poor have a sense of family father, mother and children and at least one of the adults works for a living. Their kids respect the law and realize that education is a means of leaving poverty behind. It is rare that poor people’s kids remain poor…they tend to become middle class or in some cases rich. Chronic welfare bums usually remain on welfare for the rest of their lives and a huge percentage of their offspring either become welfare bums or turn to criminality.

Quest for Knowledge needs to continue that quest.

“can truly spot racist attitudes more than a mile away”

LOL. That truly says all anyone needs to know in evaluating your contribution to intelligent discourse. Before you cast any further pearls of wisdom, maybe you should consider that some of us consider the welfare and affirmative action systems as the most racist of institutions extant. I don’t need sympathy, I don’t need special help. I need people of my community to get off the pity train, get some pride, and get a job. I am so sick of the justification of thug life and ghetto culture as “keeping it real” or an extension of the “black experience”. Call it what it is. Lazy entitlement bought and paid for by liberals to rig elections.

These folks buying beer and televisions with money that supposed to be for they kids school supplies are parasitic animals.

  16. Quest for Knowledge says

    Favil,

I am surprised that you would admit that the “brood sows” spoken of are of the white race and given that you are from Canada, I see how that would be the given fact. The Great Frank who initiated that discousre however has not returned to show his face on the matter of who he considers to be the “brood sows” nor would he ever admit to who they truly are. To my dear Demetrius have you ever considered the fact that parents had already purchased school supplies before the stimulus was given. Don’t forget Walmart , Staples, etc has already had their 1 cent sale on school supplies 2 weeks earlier!!! Just giving you another way to view the situation. Also, why is it that people of less fortunate means in so many of others eyes, should not be allowed to buy the things the more fortunate take for granted? I too am “chump” taxpayer, but I don’t complain about it because I firmly realize that life can take a drastic turn for anyone at any given time and that person could be me. For that matter if could possibly one day be you. Just giving you something to think about. Key thoughts for the day…”Always expect the unexpected”

Dear Demetrius, are they not allowed to live and enjoy life? Also dear Demetrius, every black family does not have a “thug” or live the ghetto experience. There is a side of the black exoerience the media does not want you to see…the educated, two family household, middle class, and upwardly mobile.
