A Liberal Hatefest

As news about town hall meetings gone wild get the Left-wing spin with worn-out catchphrases like “hate”  and “rage,” it is important to remember that liberals are just as guilty of the same things – and are endorsed by the mainstream media and big-name celebrities to boot.

Take a US $250-dollar-a-head New York fund-raiser that took place on Monday, December 8, 2003 for Democrat  presidential nominee Howard Dean. It was then when pro-Dean “comics” spewed a barrage of vile,  hateful remarks toward then-US President George W. Bush and other Republicans.

Protocols for the hate-filled agenda were set by  “Comedian” David Cross, who based his use of the N-word for Blacks in a disjointed “joke” apparently on the premise that it’s fine for a pro-Dean comic to use racial slurs as long as the goal is to claim Republicans are racists.

Sandra Bernhard followed that rationale by ridiculing then-Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice in a racist “yassir massa” accent. Rice, of course, is an African-American woman who dares to be a Republican.

The laughs for that evening kept rolling along as “Comic Judy Gold described  President Bush as “this piece of living, breathing s___” and  Janeane Garofalo ridiculed the Medicare prescription-drug bill that Bush had just signed as the “you can go f— yourself, Grandma” Bill.  Vice-President Dick Cheney was accused of talking  “like Mary Jo Buttafuoco” while Cheney’s wife Lynne was called “Lon Chaney” – the long-ago movie star who specialized in playing ghouls in horror films.   Cheney’s daughter Mary, who is a lesbian, was called “a big lezzie.”
