Contrary to popular belief, The Guardian Angels was not founded by Degenerate Liar Curtis Sliwa, but by two African-American twin brothers, writes a confidant of the original founding members.
Martial arts expert Siru, who runs the website Kungfumovies.org, writes that a group called the Shaolin Protectors began patrolling their Bronx neighborhood shortly before Sliwa began a very limited subway patrol operation called The Magnificent 13. The Shaolin Protectors were run by black Apache twins Jeff and Jerry Monroe, who were 5th degree black belts at the time and actually the driving force that created the Guardian Angels.
The Angles were formed on Feb. 13, 1979 after the Monroe Twins beat members of the Magnificent 13 in a fighting match. The defeated Mag13 members joined The Shaolin Protectors’ Twin Dragons school of marshal arts.
Once Sliwa heard about this, he convinced the Twins to join forces. Turf was divided between the two groups, with Sliwa’s Mag13 patrolling the subways, and the Monroe Twins’ group patrolling the streets as The Guardian Angels.
The Monroe Twins ran a tight outfit, with each patrol member being trained in marshal arts and other self-defense tactics. Many former members from the original Guardian Angels have gone on do great things, including training for special forces in military and becoming a martial arts movie star.

After local news ran footage of the Guardian Angels (The Twin Dragons Group) with their choreographed marshal arts fighting scenes, hundreds of inner-city kids rushed joined the group. A stir was created by the Guardian Angels and Curts saw their potential. He petitioned the Monroe Twins to let him be their spokesman and do public relations. The Twins agreed.
Three years later, the Monroe Twins decided to copyright the name “Guardian Angels” and found out Sliwa had already done so behind their back. One of the twin brothers left out of disgust.
Later, Jerry Eaglefeather Monroe wrote a safety manual and showed it to Sliwa, who with his wife Lisa stole the information and produced their own version of the book in Europe, where it became a best-seller.
After 13 years of unpaid service, the second twin left. Sliwa was repeatedly confronted to repent and tell the truth about the Guardian Angels. Sliwa always resonponded by saying, “I will, don’t worry, they will know. I’ll take care and fix it.” Sliwa never did.
“Sliwa did many other things before and after that the twin dragons know about that they have held back from telling the public,” writes Siru. “So while they truly believe in the Guardian Angels purpose, they do not trust Mr. Sliwa.”
“The Group is needed for sure, but just be careful of Curtis he will say anything and do anything he has to to keep his name in the lime light and famous and keep the money rolling in.”
Siru claims all of the early Mag 13 and GA members know this to be true. “But most of all Curtis Knows this is true and but we believe he will go to his grave lying until the end,” he writes.

It is extremely hard to believe that one stayed in for 3 years and the other for 13 years, while Curtis Sliwa continually told the media that he was the founder and President and hardly ever mentioned these twins, and for all those years, they never said a word to the media until now. If I founded McDonalds and some dude named Ray Kroc kept saying he was the founder, I would have sued him immediately instead of working for the guy for 3 or 13 years. Also, if I founded an organization I would never allow anyone to be the spokesman for it and allow him to get all the credit for the organization. The main reason why I came forward is not to get noticed or publicity, though that may happen after I finish my book I have been writing. But for those Guardian Angels’ who have given their lives for the truth. Those men are hero’s and it is for those men and woman why I came forward being tired and continually hearing of Sliwa’s lies. I believe that Sliwa has lied so much he actually believe in them.
In the early part about 4 years in the group Curtis did tell the world about us. And its mentioned in many magazines. However he began to slow that down and he would skip mentioning us at verious events, and news conferences.
I continued to train the members because they needed it. Without it we would have had more casualties then we had. As time went on we realized far to late that we had made a huge mistake keeping Sleezwa on.

This is about Curtis Sliwa lying to the public making untrue statements about his founding of the GA’s of which most of the GA’s know is not the truth. Not only is it not true, it shows how little truth is in Curtis. I will say that Curtis has done good, with his rock brigade sweeping up the dirty streets of the BX and his mag 13, but myself and my bother was patrolling the city streets and stopping crime long before they ever stepped foot on the subways, and we did a damn good job. Look at those photos on face book and look at all of those men and woman following myself and my brother. I trained under Jeff & Jerry Monroe and can vouch for them as being truthful and honest unlike Curtis Sliwa whose record shows he has been less then honest when he helped found the organization with Jeff & Jerry Monroe. Curtis can not deny that in 1992 he told a NY Times reporter that he and his ex wife Lisa faked crimes for publicity which can be read in it’s entirety below.

I trained under Jefferson Monroe for the short time he lived on the West side of Ohio. I believe he is a very honorable man and see no reason for him or his brother to lie about being the founder of the Guardian Angels.
All three were founding members of a group called the Burger Boys that patrolled around the McDonalds on Fordham Rd South Bronx where Curtis and one of the brothers worked. This preceded the Guardian Angels. The group then morphed into another called The Magnificent Thirteen before finally evolving into the Guardian Angels which itself has evolved over the years into a global organisation.
As an ex Guardian Angel myself I can state categorically that we are not and never have been vigilantes or bully boys or anything similar. Although our training is not as varied as the police it is certainly deeper at a patrolling level. I have never known the organisation to be anything other than ethical and lawful. Thousands of people now owe us their lives and many have simply had better lives because Angels are around. I certainly apologise if any of our members has ever acted with anything less than dignity while in our colors but I assure you we would not have lasted this long if we did not instill rigid discipline in our members. Remember it’s not the outsiders writing about us that keep us clean it’s us on the inside protecting our name.
I am not a great fan however of Curtis Sliwa and ultimately left the organisation because of him. However even I would not crticise him at the level that you do and personally I think people might take you more seriously if your attacks on him were limited to dry facts. Guardian Angel PR and media tactics are bombastic enough without you making stuff up and adding personal views and grievances to your articles.
