Conrad Beyers, FF+
A compromise to the ongoing cultural battle on whether Pretoria should be renamed Tshwane has been proposed by a local politician, who says the South African capitol should incorporate both names.
Freedom Front Plus councilor in the Tshwane metro, Conrad Beyers, made the proposal after the SABC was ordered by the government to call Pretoria by its proper name during news broadcasts.
“There is a worldwide tendency to use combined place names to accommodate minority groups,” Beyers says, noting the current South African national anthem incorporates the Afrikaner/Boer “Die Stem” with the Bantu “Nkosi Sikel ‘iAfrika”. “We can also find a solution here without any camp having to lose everything.”
Beyers notes that “during the Confederations Cup, a combined name Pretoria/Tshwane was used on advertising boards without giving offence to anyone.”
“The final name should include both Pretoria and Tshwane in order to settle the dispute permanently.”

And here we have another Afrikaner ‘appeaser’ from a tiny tin pot political party. First they sold the NP down the drain, then the NNP and now the FF+. They’ve definitely lost the fighting spirit of their forefathers. Now lets see how many Afrinakers will still vote for that traitor party in the next election(s).
