In an interview with the BBC, BNP leader and MEP Nick Griffin said the first issue he wants to raise in the European Parliament as MEP will be to investigate how the British political establishment has collaborated with corporations to carve up and sell Britain’s public services.
Griffin wants to get his investigators into the European Union archives to find the evidence supporting his claim.
“This is pushed heavily by the European Union, it is outrageous. This is The Great Theft against the British public,” Griffin said, adding it “far outweighs” the current MP expesnse scandal.
“We’re talking billions of pounds looted from the people of Britain by the corporations, with the politicians of the old parties getting back-handers for doing it.”
“We want to get into the parliamentary archives to research that, and to expose what these people have done.”
The BBC interviewer did not ask any follow-up questions to Griffin’s statement.
