Nick Griffin enters Manchester Town Hall
BNP leader Nick Griffin was attacked by left-wing activists as he entered Manchester Town Hall tonight to follow tonight’s European election count.
Acting more like facists than the ones they were accusing of being, slogan-chanting hippies surrounded several cars they thought were carrying Griffin, and began pelting the vehicles with eggs and other projectiles. The cars drove off without dropping anyone out in front of the building.
Griffin was later brought in through a back entrance, escorted by police and personal protection.
“It’s outrageous what the left Labour Party are doing,” Griffin told reporters.
