Barack Obama has compared political cable television shows to professional wrestling, and says he does not really learn anything from their endless debates.
The candid admission came during a limo ride interview with NBC correspondant Brian Williams, which is part of a week-long exclusive look the network got at the Obama White House.
Williams asked Obama whether when he’s watching cable TV and lands on a news channel and sees a debate underway about him, does he stop and watch.
“I generally don’t,” Obama replied. “Mainly because I don’t find most of the cable chatter very persuasive. I’ve used this analogy before, it feels like WWF wrestling. Everybody’s got their role to play. I know a lot of these guys. And if Pat Buchanan is having a conversation with Chris Matthews or talking to Keith Olbermann, everybody’s got their set pieces and, so, I don’t feel as if I’m learning anything from the debate.”

The Great Frank said this on TRP! So the Foreign Occupier must be listening!
Jesse Ventura also said that the cable news shows were like pro wrestling in his last book.
When obama makes statements like that it makes me wonder why in the hell is he president.
Where do you think he got it? He was on TRP! And you believe Ventura? He lied about being in Vietnam. He thinks that everyone is stupid like the morons who watch wrestling that they believe he’s real!
I’m sure Obama listens.
