Residents of Rialto, California are up in arms against repeated harassment from the Guardian Angels, who have taken it upon themselves to patrol the suburban neighborhood.
“My wife is at home, calling me at work, saying these guys are in cars, driving around, pointing, and she doesn’t know who they are, they have red hats on and look like gang members pointing at our house like six times,” said resident David Boyle.
The Angels claim they were invited by a resident to patrol the Rialto streets. “We’re out there to protect those who can’t protect themselves from, like, crime,” said the Rialto franchise leader, who goes under the moniker of “Eagle.”

Officials say crime, including incidents of robbery, burglary and murder, are sharply down. Lt. Joe Cirilo said the local police force has the resources to combat any problems, but cautiously added that “an extra set of eyes is always welcome.”
Eagle told KABC News that the group will be in Rialto for “as long as it takes” and will use “whatever means” it felt neccessary to stop crime in the neighborhood.

The only reason why their not a gang is because the words ” The Alliance of” but they still do things and operate like gangsters. Sliwa will come into a city and get all the media attention and then he goes away. He has been proven as a liar many times.
People need to read the Guardian Angel website carefully before they make any negative judgment. We’re not a gang members. We’re here to protect the community.

The title is not only misleading, it’s an outright lie! Nobody was harrassed, as a matter of fact neighbors who were once intimidated by the local hoodlums came out of their houses for the first time without fear, and rejoiced at the prospect of peace in the neighborhood. If you were there, which I was and you asked the neighbors their opinion you would get a 99% approval from them. The 1% disapproval would probably come from the parents of gang member kids, who are disolutioned, and in denial of the activities of their children. Come to Beechwood Street in North Rialto and ask a few CITIZENS first before assuming that anyone was or is harrassed, it has become ten times more quiet here since the Angels have patroled peacefully this neighborhood, the news was here ABC7 and they saw first hand that in actuality the Guardian Angels were actual the recipients of harrassment not the other way around. Again don’t believe everything you read, this story has had a spin put on the truth with some editing magic, SOMEONE has an agenda don’t they?????

Some corrections should be made to your posting here;
1. “Rialto franchise leader”- The Guardian Angels is not a “franchise” niether is it a franchise of Rialto. So I am sure you meant to say “The INLAND EMPIRE CHAPTER leader” notice how how the group covers the entire INLAND EMPIRE rather then just Rialto, also note the correction of CHAPTER rather then franchise.
2. You may also want to note that at no time is it actually said “whatever means” What was actually said was that “However long it takes to get them to stop doing what there doing, and if we have to arrest people, citizens arrest them, thats what we’ll do”

This statment is actually very misleading, The only residents that did not welcome the Guardian Angels to that neighborhood were the two parent of known “EST” members. In addition there was no harassment on the part of the Guardian Angels towards these people.(on the contary I have video showing how the parents, most noteably the mother, was very rude to the Guardian Angels and how they actually talked with the parents explaining why they were there, what they hoped to do in the neighborhood, etc)

So it appears that 5 out of the 5 paragraphs you wrote need to be corrected. It is good to see that at least you got one almost correct, just a little note for you if your going to use quotation marks your suppose to include all of what was said. So you may want to look at your 4th paragraph and rewatch the video to fill it in a little better.
