Obama Picks Anti-White Sotomayor For SCOTUS

obama_sotomoyer_20090526Barack Obama has nominated the viciously anti-White federal appeals judge Sonia Sotomayor to replace retiring justice David Souter for the Supreme Court of the United States.

The New York-based Sotomayor is the first Hispanic to be nominated for America’s highest court. Should she make it through the nomination process, Sotomayor, 54, would be its third woman.

Sotomayor is considered a reliable liberal vote who recently Wrote an opinion supporting the City of New Haven’s anti-White decision to throw out the results of a firefighter promotion exam because almost no minorities qualified for promotions. The Supreme Court heard the case, Ricci v. DeStefano, in April 2009 and a final opinion is pending.

Judge Sonia Sotomayor makes a viciously anti-White statement in 2001.

Sotomayor’s history of anti-White attitudes goes even further back. In a “diversity lecture” at the University of California in 2001, Sotomayor said,“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a White male who hasn’t lived that life,” a clear slap at her White, male colleagues and a clear indication of her attitudes on race.

Sotomayor has also scoffed at the idea of judicial impartiality as a mere “aspiration because it denies the fact that we are by our experiences making different choices than others,” suggesting instead that “inherent physiological or cultural differences” may help explain why “our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging.”

On the note of judicial impartiality and race, Sotomayor said in a 2001 speech the following:

“Judge [Miriam] Cedarbaum [of the federal District Court in New York]… believes that judges must transcend their personal sympathies and prejudices and aspire to achieve a greater degree of fairness and integrity based on the reason of law. Although I agree with and attempt to work toward Judge Cedarbaum’s aspiration, I wonder whether achieving that goal is possible in all or even in most cases. And I wonder whether by ignoring our differences as women or men of color we do a disservice both to the law and society. Whatever the reasons… we may have different perspectives, either as some theorists suggest because of our cultural experiences or as others postulate because we have basic differences in logic and reasoning….

“Our experiences as women and people of color affect our decisions. The aspiration to impartiality is just that — it’s an aspiration because it denies the fact that we are by our experiences making different choices than others….

“Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences, a possibility I abhor less or discount less than my colleague Judge Cedarbaum, our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging. Justice [Sandra Day] O’Connor has often been cited as saying that a wise old man and wise old woman will reach the same conclusion in deciding cases…. I am… not so sure that I agree with the statement. First… there can never be a universal definition of wise. Second, I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

She also stressed that although “men lawyers… need to work on” their “attitudes,” many have already reached “great moments of enlightenment.”

Sotomayor also remarked in 2005 that the Court of Appeals “is where policy is made”:

Republican reaction to the nomination was mostly guarded, with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell saying his side of the aisle “will thoroughly examine her record to ensure she understands that the role of a jurist in our democracy is to apply the law even-handedly, despite their own feelings or personal or political preferences.”

However, GOP strategist Karl Rove came out swinging against Sotomayor’s nomination, who blasted the New York liberal as having “a reputation for being a tough… unpleasant colleague” who would not have the “”intellectual powers” to make a difference on the court.

This selection by Barry Hussein the
Illegal alien black liberationist is of no remarkable revelation; it is natural for a man of refuse to scour the garbage to select a creature who is of the same hateful mind. Who plays the ”lantana” routine as a dramatic act.
She apparently is a Spanish speaking mulatto/mestizo and not Latin.

This bimbo voted to deny a racial discrimination claim in a 2008 decision.
The case, Ricci v. DeStefano, which involved a group of 19 white firefighters and one Hispanic firefighter who filed suit in 2003 claiming that the city of New Haven, Conn., engaged in racial discrimination when it threw out the results of two promotion tests because none of the city’s black applicants had passed the tests.

She dismissed the case in a one-paragraph statement that, in the opinion of one dissenting judge, ignored the evidence and did not even address the constitutional issues raised by the case. (The federal court of appeals is full of entities like this).

I find the statement made by this “lantana” imposter looser to be predictable.” I would hope that a wise Latino woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a White male who hasn’t lived that life”. Do you mean a life of a looser?

Here she is being recorded and makes the statement that the court of appeals makes policy and corrects her when she realizes she was wrong, and states that the court does not make law. Perhaps this is the “richness of her experience”

Sotomayor was originally nominated to the bench by former President George H.W. Bush on the recommendation of the late Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-N.Y.). She was elevated to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals by President Bill Clinton in 1997.

You folks knew this would happen…right? Consider yourselves lucky he didn’t appoint his buddy Billy Ayres, or Abby Hoffman. Or ask Hugo Chavez or Kim Jong evil to sit on the court as special emmissary.

  3. Dr Muttley says

Well, Abby Hoffman would do the less damage on account that he has been for some time…

She’s gotta be stopped. Every white male should protest…

It seems to me that Obama is now showing what many have feared. He seems to be pandering to any minority that he can. He seems to have a propensity to pick, female, black, Hispanic, what have you, and any combination of all the possibilities.

It has been my experience that if a white politician does not appoint any minorities that they would be sexist and/or racist. My question is why are the same standards applied here?

Obama’s popularity is in free fall. I think Rasmussen has strongly approve/disapprove at 31/30. This mess won’t help at all. The irony of the same court that struck down affirmative action will get it thrust upon them.

  9. bikerbernie says

Opps, Why are the same standards NOT applied here.

This is what happens when you elect a kenyan born, white hating, marxist, to the highest office in the land. Elections have consequences so all you who voted for the obamination enjoy the hell he shall bring.
